i need to get an idea on a lure i have a semi murky water pond medium sized lots of vegitation 4-5 feet deep sand bottom with large rocks with bass bluegill perch smallmouth and largemouth and minnows what lure would you reccomend
@reptifreak99 because you have minnows, the bass may thrive on those so think of some soft plastic flukes, with murkier water, try more natural colours, like browns and greens, when and if the water becomes more translucent try more attractive brights colours and patterns. You can swim, jerk, and jig these flukes to see what works the best, when your jigging them, use a split shot or bullet weight. Make sure to buy tungsten bullet weights and tin split shots, lead is very harmful.
@reptifreak99 If it has any vegetation on top like lilipads, branches or anything I would recommend a topwater frog, since it is murky I would use a soft plastic worm and if that doesnt work try a small, dark spinnerbait.
someone help me just the other day i say about a 6 pound bass about the size of 2 1/2 rulers and i kept throwing m rapala out there and i saw it chase it but didnt bite just turnd around and swam away....so i thought id switch to a jerk bait but that didnt work...so i finally tryd a rattle trap that didnt even work PLEASE HELP
@TheSoccerguy58 no you dont...you can use a senko and fish it "dead stick" or brush hog....but having the weight helps alot..specially in river water...you dont need a huge weight except in certain situations...keep it simple...good luck
@TheSoccerguy58 it depends where your fishing, if your in a pocket using plastic use a medium weight so it has a slowfall they will go for that but if you are in shallow throw up a really light one if none o it will just sit below the water
a good lure for spring bass is the matzuo triple play minnow, i have some videos on my channel about it and out of the 12 bass i have caught so far this year 10 have been on this lure, one of them being about 3 pounds and 20 inches long.
with a bait caster can you use fresh bait just curious because when i use fresh on my baitcaster all my other fellow anglers look at me wierd just curious thanx .justin 15
@hottexan75766 For bass, not sure, maybe a tube. Possibly a worm. Live bait always seems to work best when ice fishing. BUT, I don't know of many people who ice fish for bass, because you have to be able to move around a lot and you can't do that with ice.
I have had my most succesful days on Zoom Lizards and Lipless Cranks ... i have never in my life caught a bass on a spinner bait ...ive caught them on a lil crappie spinner but never a medium or large spinner
@iTzzEuphoriaaaaaa ...ive had the SAME results...although in late August I did manage to catch some bass on a black spinnerbait...but NOTHING since...my best has been on Yozuri lipless cranks (RattlenVibe) and the 2 dollar Cotton Cordell chrome rattletrap (WALMART)...they work wonders....
@akrivosdiavolos73 Yeah man ive caught one bass on a red and yellow spinner the rest of my bass come off YUM Ribbon Tail worms doesnt matter what color ... and yeah lipless are awesome ive got about 6 of those cotton cordell chromes and greens and some purple ones they are awesome you can hear the vibration from the pier hahah
i catch like 5 bass everyday lmao its not hard..bass will go after pretty much any bait, you just gotta knnow where the fish are, and know what time of day they are most active to eat
buy braid line,30lb power pro (if using a spinning rod) and buy a black and a green spro bronzeye frog. throw it into the lilly pads and weeds and you will catch bass all day
@ChrisH11515 dude, you been fishing for years and years and you havent caught even 1 bass? If that is true then you probly need to stop fishing just quit and give up becouse i didnt even think that was possible
does any one know any lakes in utah that has bass, trout, catfish, and thats close to salt lake city.i just really want to catch bass but i dont know where. thanks for the advice. 5*
i once caught a bass with a hot dog but that was like a once in a lifetime chance. i never caught a bass again with the same bait. that thing must have been starving then
Once me and my friend where fishing in a small lake under a bridge and we caught a HUGE bass, what we did was we cought a small blue gill, we put a hook on its tail and let it swim around, then the HUGE bass came and swallowed it haha we call the HUGE bass mumba jumba hahaha
its called a steel leader....if you are going for pike/muskee or even pickerel it is a Good idea since they have large teeth and can BITE through your line..
k but u still didnt say how to choose the right bait, u just said what all baits they are...dumb fuck

Don't ever underestimate the need to use a heavier set-up. Personal
preference. Learn how to use your rods, don't rely on technique specific rods.

Top 3 bass lures i keep on my 3 rods ...
