I love it, I find it a little disturbing that there are so many negative comments. This is a Gospel love album according to Kim, I label it as Contemporary Gospel. This song has message, she's happy and loving her life right now. She's not showing any skin in the bed and she's sitting up... what is the problem? This video was tastefully done, stop hating. I love kim burrell and i love her spirit... i can understand the first impression of seeing kim in her night gown but i also saw her in the rest of the video with clothes on.. and she was talking about the Lord ... i still love the song and her actual cd... not every gospel artist is gonna come out with the same type of singing there are plenty of singers in the gospel industry that have pushed the envelope to get the word out.

If a person wants to sing secular, then sing it! Stop straddling the fence and stop conforming to the world! I don't see the sense in being in sexy lingerie because nobody is gonna be focused on what she's saying because we're all looking at what she has on. Kim has given so much to so many through her voice, music and preaching. She has helped me and inspired me time after time. If she wants to be flirtatious why shouldn't she? It is natural for humans to be romantic. Blurring the lines between worshipping God and paying homage to a loved one is old news. 12th century sufi devotional poetry/music could be interpreted both ways. It brings non religious people closer to God and helps us to love each other as creations of God. We should celebrate Kim.

How could you not be in love with the creator of love? GOD is love, he's in love with us (agape love) so how can we not be in love with the one who loves us more than we could ever love ourselves? So for those saying that can't agree with being in love or singing a love song to the creator and trying to make this song something that it isn't, you really need to stop putting GOD in a box, he's bigger than anything that you could ever imagine, thee ALPHA and thee OMEGA, think about it!

@bornthug213 Here's the thing, if the Creator is our Father, and the Messiah is he's son, making him a big brother to us, why should we be singing romantic songs to either of them?? I don't sing I'm in love with you songs to my earthly dad or brother because it's inappropriate...So why would I sing such a thing to the Most High God, who is our Father. Love songs are for spouses, not Fathers and siblings..Hebrews never sung songs about being in love with his law (psalms), not him.

@cqgmickey Not to be offensive, but your conception of "love" seems quite short-minded, if not misguided. You make it seem as if she's looking to have sexual relations with God. No. She's exploring, what I believe, is a more genuine kind of love--the kind of love that is more intimate, more tender. When I hear this song, I think of the Lord's all-emcompassing love and gently touch over my life. This is indeed what the Hebrews sung about. Listen to the lyrics. It's obvious.

See the problem is, Ms. Burrell doesn't know how to love the Father because she's a Christian (no offense). Christians don't keep the Most High's law and to love him is to keep his commandments. @cqgmickey Your assumption is that if 1 cannot sing “this type of song” to their dad (or any other immediate relative), then the song is “inappropriate” to sing to the Creator. 1) For some strange & unwarranted reason you interpret this song as being one of an “improper” or sexual nature, which it clearly is not. The OBVIOUS message in this song is simply this: “Lord, with You, everyday is sweeter” and that she loves Him. That’s it. Nothing more. Nothing less. Clear as day. Sound the trumpets!

If anything it exemplifies God’s requirement that we praise and show reverence to Him in all that we do. The only difference to this song than any of the other worship song is that it’s to jazz music. And the fact that she expressed her love for the Lord in this way doesn’t distort the obvious message...
