@aikighost I would buy another but I have to wait for a bit:( I run the monomachine through and Ebbe Und Flute and it's amazing what come out with some tweaking. Synths are like food, not everyone enjoys the same dish;) Best with your sale...peace
Such a nice way to use all 3 together. I love the sounds you are getting out of the monomachine and how they are mangled in the OT. The monomachine has to be one of my top synths even compared to all my analog gear, it's such a "one of a kind" synth in itself. Beautiful work/play :)
@MrDataline For me I find programming the maonomachine a pain in the arse. I really find it hard to get any decent synth sounds out of it. I hate the sound of the monos filters. I also dislike the lack of a patch saving mechanism. Its a real shame as I love my MD My octatrack.
To be honest I hardly ever use it any more. It just sits on my table turned off most of the time now. I'm probably going to sell it and get a DSI Tempest analog groovebox in the new year to go with my octattrack instead.
@aikighost hmmm, I see. One box can not tickle everybody's bones :) I love monomachine as much as I love the other boxes, you CAN get decent synth sounds out of it, just takes a bit of getting used to it! :) . About the Tempest, I tried one for a while but was not happy with the sound, I guess I need to play with it more to enjoy it! But I don't think I will get one as elektrons are more than enough for me :)
@MrDataline I actually prefer the sound of the tempest to the machindrum, I think it sounds far more organic. Also I like the tempests controller strips and the fact that you can use 2 expression pedals with it. The real time manipulation possibilities of the tempest are amazing, I thing it will make an ideal accompaniment to my octatrack. Digital precision with analog organicness, best of both worlds :)
