I've just finished watching this movie - OMG: Judi Dench is awsome actress: her Barb is delighfully prudish, possesive liar and helplessly lonely cruel person. And Cate Blanchett - I love her acting since "Oscar and Lucinda". Great casting and thrilling story - I promised myself never ever have a crush on younger guys again :)

In the US/Hollywood film industry, casting directors can not hire minors (and by federal law that means 17 or younger) to play such a sexual role with an adult. I do believe that the gov't doesn't care if it's just for "pretend"; anyone of legal age cannot have any intimate relations with a minor.
