If you have ever read the novel Vanity Fair, the main character, Becky Sharp, is a cunning young woman who is willing to do anything, even marry a rich man, in order to make her way into the upper echelons of English society. Sound familiar?  I wouldn't be suprised at all if this song was about Heather.

This makes me think of car rides through the English countryside on hot sunny days, thinking about relationships. I find the lyrics slightly, slightly childish but the composure just great. As if it's only just carrying itself along.
