  • either thats brand new or u took hours washing it cos most argos should be filthy with mud

  • @slizerd1

That video was uploaded two months after I got it. I had mud all over the out side of the tub before this video was taken. It was very muddy believe me ! This video was shot after 7 days of detailing the inside and outside of the tub. Before I installed the ASX tires on it I scrubbed all of the tub area behind the tires. I had tracks on the machine before this video was taken. I wanted to have my Mudd-Ox really clean for the video shoot.

  • This Mudd-0x 8x8 new cost $21,999 plus the tax , and $2,850 for the Adair tracks plus the tax on them.

  • what did you pay for it

  • Looks like an awesome vehicle.

  • @VollgasHero

I sold my Mudd-Ox 8x8 to get an Argo 6x6. The Mudd-Ox was an awersome machine when I owned it.

  • i would use this for airsoft

  • @soap743

    What is airsoft?

  • @amphibdriver1 airsoft is wen u use bb guns that are replica guns that shoot pelets

  • @amphibdriver1 GASP

  • @amphibdriver1 It's like paintball, only more realistic. Replica magazine-fed guns that fire 6 or 8mm plastic bb's.

  • @hondarider430

Ok, I understand now. Leaned some thing that

    I,d did'nt know. lol.

  • @hondarider430

    Ok I understand now. A new Mudd-Ox 8x8 would cost you $21,999.

  • looks lyk a couple tires are on wrong

  • @kamustang01

No , I installed the tires facing foward and backwards for a reason. My friend has the ASX tires on his 6x6 and he found out that with all of the tires facing the exact same direction it causes too much water turbulance and slows down the water speed. With the tires facing the way that I have them , this causes less water turburlance and increases the water speed a little. The ASX tires do not swim that well on an amphib, so any little increase in water speed helps.

  • @amphibdriver1 good point

  • Small fortune to replace all of those tires. Is that why you're grunting?

  • @NomadElectricus

I recently sold all of the new ASX tires and rims for exactly what I payed for them.I now run Adair tracks on the Argo Frontier 6x6 that I sold the Mudd-Ox 8x8 to buy. After running these tracks in some of the worst mud holes that I could find, I don't plan on ever running tires again.

  • Th Mudd-Ox 8x8 that I used to own never got stuck or high centered in rutt. One of the great things about the Mudd-Ox is that you can instantly counter rotate. This is really handy when you find yourself in a really challenging trail situation. Whats great about the Adair tracks I was running on the Mudd-Ox is the large number of lugs that you have digging into the mud at the same time. The Mudd-Ox has a V-bottom tub and with these tracks on it it had 15 and a half inches of ground clearance.

  • I don't know much about these but have you ever had issues with high centering on ruts or something? just something I've noticed but is much "ignored" so to speak that nobody high centers. Just askin'

  • wow wow

  • @lilchaptio2005

The Mudd-Ox 8x8 I had was an awesome machine but I later sold it because I needed a smaller 6x6 that was manageable in the places I often go

  • use the winch much? :)

  • @UnderCrux

I've never used the winch to pull myself out of the mud, but I have used it to pull atv's out of the mud.

  • @UnderCrux

This video was shot before I installed the Adair tracks on it. I've yet to get stuck in any mud hole with the Adair tracks on it, but I have gotten myself wedged in between some hard dirt rutts before and had to stop before I walked out of the tracks. The only time that I've used my winch was to pull out atv's that were stuck in the mud.

  • @amphibdriver1 haha good to hear man. i assumed as much, just goofin around

  • @Jagethemage

When I came back from a weekend of riding my Mudd-Ox 8x8 with the Adair tracks on it , the out side of the tub was covered in mud. I spent all day cleaning it up again because I did'nt want to install the new ASX tires on a muddy lower tub and on muddy axles. I also wanted my Mudd-Ox clean when I shot this video. If you have watched any of my other Mudd-Ox video's you'll see that I get it very muddy. This is no trailor queen I can assure you! lol.

  • You shouldn't need the damn winch if it's 8 wheel drive lol

  • @stampede4x416

The winch came on it from the factory when I got it. I have since sold it ,but I never ever got it stuck or had to use my winch to pull myself out. I did pull out some other guys on 4 wheelers though.

  • This is a toy?

  • @mestreshow

I would call this machine a big boys toy.
