A very good Beatles cover. It's rather curious why doing a cover would run afoul with Youtube rules. People do it all the time and everywhere. It's the silliest rule I've ever heard...that it's worth ignoring, until they scrap that BS.
Fargenbastich is absolutely amazing covering the beatles, never seen anything like it but with Castille adding his final touches its the next best thing to listening to the Beatles themselves!!!
this is so good it has taken me right back to my home city as i now live in spain it has made me realy homesick ps it is slang for fondling a young ladys private parts so to speak i can remember the word quite clearly as a very young teenager
This illustrates the divide across the pond - none of us young Americans (or very very few) had a clue what that meant back then. Hey - I hope you can get back home once in a while. And thanks so much for the feedback, John.
The correct lyric is 'fish and finger pie' and yes it's sexual innuendo. Apparently the girls working in the fish and chip shops in Liverpool had some cheeky requests when the song was in the charts. 'Happiness is a Warm Gun' is the other Beatles song with a double entendre lyric, and 'Come Together' of course Then there's 'Eat At Home ' from Paul's 'Ram' album
Hey man. Great version. It's not 'fish and finger pie'. It's actually 'for efficient finger pies', about how he's thinking back on some heavy petting with a girl and how they were hiding... I've seen the four of fish and finger pies interpretation many places, but it's wrong...
Thanks-glad you liked it. I don't think you're right about those lyrics. In fact I think the interpretation you gave is frequently cited as a MISHEARD lyric. A mondegren. Other examples:".....she's got a chicken to ride" or "...the girl with colitis goes by"
The mysterious lyrics "Four of fish and finger pies" are British slang. "A four of fish" refers to fourpennyworth of fish and chips, while "finger pie" is sexual slang of the time, apparently referring to intimate fondlings between teenagers in the shelter, which was a familiar meeting place. The combination of "fish and finger" also puns on fish fingers. The lyrics as printed on the Blue (1967-1970) Album, however, are "Full of fish and finger pies" which are incorrect
If you mean how do you UPload in stereo? It's simple: you must upload a stereo FLV (no mpegs or wmv) and you make the video settings low quality while keeping the audio settings high. YouTube converts anything else to a MONO FLV. Hope that helps.
That is correct. But be sure you make the FLV in stereo before you send it. If you want to hear the best stereo Beatles song that I did with Fargenbastich...look up "Stereo!!! Here Comes the Sun - Fargenbastich and Castille "
Actually, I heard Paul discuss this in an interview. The Beatles liked to see what they could slip by George Martin without him noticing, e.g. "tit tit tit" in Girl. "Fish and Finger Pie" was a reference to, how do I put it nicely, touching a girl where it smells like the sea. True story!
Fish fingers are a 3' by 1' compressed whiting or pollock in a breaded coating, frozen by "Birds Eye" and were the ultimate in "convenience" food served to schoolkids everywhere! there is no such thing as a "Fish and Finger Pie"! just another Lennon abreviation to fit the lyrics, like "yeller meller custard dripping from a dead dogs eye"...ripped from nursury rhymes. Trust me, I'm a scouser
I knew this was coming when I saw fargenbastich's awesome vid.. and I was impatiently looking forward to it. And still it bowled me over. 5 stars is not enough. Incredible. Also very cool of you to share and plug the art.
I would have worked on it non-stop and done it in 24 hours if it weren't for minor interruptions like work and sleep and such. Fargen told me he was going to do this song about a month ago so I've been anxiously awaiting it myself ! Thanks Iso.
That band, The Keytones, was made up of pathologists and laboratory personnel. We played annually at hospital functions. Sadly, when that hospital closed 3 years ago; the band also was a victim of the closure.

Simply excellent. This is the song I thought fargenbastich played best, and now the arrangements and images make it a delight.
The image of the B in the partitures haha! Paul and George Martin were amazed at how the musician they hired could play a b6 for the solo...

Thank you.
I have understood so: at first it is necessary to convert its file of the format WMV in FLV.
But if I load in YouTube WMV , that sound becomes mono automatically.
