go to the battlefield website, and download the v1.41 patch. You don't need to install all of the past patches, just the latest.

the essential purpose of a patch is to fix all those pesky little bugs and exploits the game had in its original form. Yes you will need them because most if not all servers will not let you play if you havent patched you version of bf2. If you go to the bf2 website and head to the downloads section you'll find the latest patch you need. I believe the latest patch is 1.41 although i could be mistaken. Hope that helped

ah i loved this game, so awesome, the vehicles weren't too nooby, the weapons were accurate to the real thing

i loved how teamwork is the only way you could survive in that game.

Call of Duty 6 should be BF2 but with more weapons and of course better graphics, more maps, and maybe more vehicles and it'd be a kickass game

it takes maybe an hour, depends on you network speed. U must register to get to play online and to get a name. In the Entry Menu at BF2 press create new account to the bottom, right. Just follow that, and there u go! :D
