I don't often leave comments and stuff but I have to say if you have an iPad and like messing around with music, want to get some tunes in your head out into some form of playable format then this app is a MUST! I can't believe the iPad can run such an amazing program that can do so much! Ive only started to dabble in it and already have a couple of tunes created... I suggest more instruments in the next update but seriously you gotta try this app! 10 out of 10!!!!
I always considered Music Studio to be just as good as FL Studio Mobile, but with the addition of the Waveform feature, Music Studio is, by far, the new king of music composition apps.
So I just downloaded the app and the all-in-one instrument package last night and I've had a chance to play with it some. First of all, absolutely beautiful looking interface. Secondly, phenomenal sound quality for all of the instruments. Also, thank you for making it a universal app. I downloaded on my iPad first, then my iPhone today for no additional cost. That includes the all-in-one instrument package. Very nice software. Well done!

If I purchased the Separate Instrumental Packs [ Classical, World etc. ] and then re-downloaded Music Studio on one of my other iPhones, Will I need to re-purchase the Instrument Packs? Or will they be Free?
@Xewton this app is called "Garageband on the iPhone." Now that Garageband v1.1 is released (now a universal app), what features make this app a better one compared to that 4.99-app by Apple?

I bought the app a while ago, but never really used it. After I saw the update yesterday, I was like what?!?! It is so much better now & the new look and features adds more to it. I'm looking forward to using it often.
@xadowz Yes, Music Studio includes power chords and e-guitars. With the additional band package for $4.99 you'll get a rock drum kit and a total of 7 e-guitars.

@1espy3 It's still in review by Apple, which usually takes 1-2 weeks. If you have Music Studio installed, the App Store icon on your home screen will tell you with a red "1" that a free update is available.
So is there now even more instruments? Because I have the original music studio including every single instrument that you could buy. How many more instruments is there now in 2.0?
Please please tell me this app is not only gonna be filled with electronics sounding stuff and synths. i loved how this app had piano and drums and guitar and stuff. will it still have that?
@TropianTV Yes, we also added new orchestral instruments, with the all-in-one pack Music Studio has now 29 classical, 28 band and 17 ethnic instruments. The rest is 51 synths and kits. In total there are 65 free instruments + 60 in the in-app store.
This is great. I have the App on my Ipad. Only one question. I cant find a way to get rid of the double keyboard. I just want a single keyboard on screen when I am in keyboard mode. How do I change it to a single keyboard?

I bought FL studio Mobile, Beatmaker 2 and Music Studio shortly after buying my Ipad 2. They are all great Apps but at the moment I find it easier to get up and running in FL studio simply because I can step sequence the drums. I just mention this in relation to a future Music Studio update. Just a suggestion.
I have a question. how do you do things like crescendos, decrescendos, vibrato, and other effects like that?

@laladamac The instrument tab is grayed out when an audio track is selected. Tap an instrument (MIDI) track in the track list.
