True, she should learn the language. It is hard to find tiem to go to a school though. Also if she learns it on the street as time goes by. She will learn it eventually but it will take so much longer perhaps 5 years and it will be informal english. So either way it sucks.
A grasp on the English language would increase her ability for find a higher paying job. Its the most basic skill, and if you aren't proficient in it, how do you expect someone to get a job that will pay her more?
