When the turned to kibbutzim for shelter, the kibbutzim were ordered by the gov't to expel them.

Because they had not official address, their children could not go to school.

Why do you set up the straw man argument that we (Jews living in Judea and Samaria) all use G-d as our real estate broker? First of all, despite how the media portrays things, the majority of "settlers" do not identify themselves as religious. The local and foreign press (and you perhaps) work to vilify Jewish residents of Yesha by casting us a religious nuts preventing peace.

Second of all, the Jewish nation has no shortage of legal, moral and historic rights to all territory between the Mediterranean Sea and Jordan River (including Judea, Samaria and Gaza). Maybe you should learn some history before maligning a population that accepts continuous suffering upon itself and scorn from the entire world in its efforts to protect the Jewish people and assert our national rights.

Of course Jews deserve the land after all we have been through, especially in the Muslim countries.. I still don't think two wrongs make a right. Who said anything about expelling anyone?! The only people at risk of being expelled from their homes are Jews in Judea and Samaria (and somehow advocating this has become politically correct). No one serious even talks about expelling Arabs from anywhere.

Everyone, including Jews and Arabs, should be able to live wherever they want to. And that means that we (the Jews) should be able to live in Judea, Samaria and Gaza without the whole world flipping out.

The only reason that the government of Israel behaves so brutally against these young people is that these kids are obstructing the Bush administration's vision for the Middle East. Israel's current leadership fears Washington and therefore places Bush's agenda above the national interests of the Jewish people.
