Have you guys flown in hardcore? I wonder if tips and advice given in normal mode can still be helpful in hardcore. The one thing that gets me is flying without 3rd person.

In all fairness without sounding bigheaded but I pretty much fly better than both of you, I get a better K/d than that all the time and I don't have a wingman and before people hate on me for saying this but I just wanted to point it out :) also if you want to really impress people with your piloting skills when using a wingman do sincrenised (can't spell it) flying that's hard!

Tip for attacking choppers with heat seekers: Dont fire instantly once you get the lock, wait until you get kinda close, then the flares wont have enough time to react to the incoming missile

i got bf3 a week or so ago but i really think that the vehicles are so much overpowered for more experienced players than for newbies like me. It took me so long to unlock flares in the jets because i kept getting missiled by other players with all the top gadgets for their jets. other than that though, this game is AWSOME!

@MrReece131 No after burners make you take wider turns. To make sharper turns slow yourself down. Yes it is true if you don't believe me try it yourself. You will notice being able to stay on an enemies tail much easier. It works for me.

Mongol you should use Rocket Pods. By taking out tanks you help out your team a lot. The jet cannon is good enough against Jets and choppers.

y are u using tha lock on missiles? The minigun is strong enough to take out other jets and when u lock on they'll know you're their. So I'd recommend using the rocket pods because if u fly with a wingmate who also uses the pods tanks are getting destroyed in no time

@Shift4chizzle : you retarted? their are 2 jets on each map so if u and a friend take one each (only place for 1 in a jet) and you can communicate tanks are as easy to kill as capping a conquest point

Hey Mongol, you should try using the extinguisher instead of flares. It works really good for me. When someone locks on and gets a missle in the air on you, double back on it and hit the thrusters. 90% of the time it won't hit.

The few times you get disabled from a machine gun or AA, just pop a extinguisher and you're good as new.

I really dislike a mouse being allowed to FLY in this game. It kills it for all the other players who want a more authentic flying experience with the Joystick and Keyboard. A player who has practiced with a Mouse and a player who practiced with the Joystick, they both have equal skill - The mouse will always win due to accuracy. I destroy so many people with my Joystick, but every once in a while I face an unstoppable mouse flyer... I'm at a complete disadvantage. It kills the entire experience

@MongolFPS On a side note, if you ever manage to get a joystick, you should do another video like this,but with your opinion on the differences between a joystick and mouse, would be interesting. As I said earlier..I did a lot better later on with my joystick, but it still seems a mouse can turn sharper because they have a higher sensitivity than the joystick, and it changes the entire outcome when flying it seems. Some guy was saying he just uses a KB, and he could turn on a dime.

Another thing, BF3 is frustrating to play alone, so if you want to have fun either make friends with people online or go to places like HUPIT gaming to find people. Cuz you need atleast 3 in your squad to do consistently well and a full 4 squad to control the game.

@xxTopher Its more of a learn as you go thing, what I can say that might help is shoot where enemy jets are gong to be, brake while turning as its quicker, and use after burner to avoid missiles (after burner only works in the attack jets in conquest mode)

@xWhiZZy changing sensitivity of mouse in the game options does affect sensitivity when flying. Also in the new patch, there is a new option for vehicle sensitivity. Turn that up a tad bit if you need more sensitivity
