  • One thing that attracted people to the original Bioshock was the setting. Rapture was a brand new place that hadn't been experienced ever before in a game: A modern city of the past submerged in the ocean. I can't wait for Columbia because it, like the original, is a new city: A steampunk dystopian apple floating on hot air balloons. With a sequel, be it a game or movie, you want people to feel about the sequel the way they did with the original, and with Bioshock, leaving Rapture is perfect.

  • shouldnt it technically be called aeroshock?

  • the idea is riscky but ill work

  • man i bet ken levine is getting tired of all these inteviews theres like a hundred of em on youtube

  • @mrsandstorm66 I seriously bet that he gets sick and tired of answering the same questions over and over and over.

  • i think that since the big daddy was in a diving suit to fit the under water theme, the "new big daddy" will have a suit that fits the sky theme! (bird big daddy suit, jet pack big daddy suit, ect.) :-)

  • @jeffthayungin the new "big daddy" is cald a handyman, he has this cyborg like body and huge hands, but i should check for more info

  • 720p is not working on this video.

  • Because the original design for Big Daddies were all mechanical with just human organs to keep it running. So, they took their original design for a Big Daddy and decided to put it in the game because it was earlier than Bioshock 1 and 2.

  • 1 minute ago Oh, by the way, to clear some stuff up, Andrew Ryan couldn't be in Columbia. Me and my friend had a huge debate about it, and I did some research. Bioshock Infinite is based in 1912, before Rapture, as stated in the video. But, after reading the Bioshock Wiki, I found out Ryan didn't leave Russia until 1919, thus placing Ryan in Russia, not Columbia.

Also, it may not look like it, but that machine thing at the beginning of the video was an early version of a Big Daddy.

  • I only have one question...... Are there plasmids?

No Big Daddies is a sting, but a tolerable one. If there are no Big Daddies AND no plasmids, well I'm afraid there's no deal.

  • @sargecaboosegriftex Yes there are plasmids, and from what I've heard you can carry your weapons on 1 hand and plasmids in the other like Bioshock 2

  • @sargecaboosegriftex Yes and no. Basically you get these powers called vigors which like plasmids dont alter the genetic code. From the impression I have gathered, these vagors may be consumable, though that is only a guess.

  • IM SO GONNA TELEKINESIS PEOPLE OFF THE BUILDINGS!! :D

  • this idea will work. i already have the feeling i got from the first bioshock. new city, new feeling. Outlandish setting. it will be great. they should call the new "big daddies" Blimp Daddies. get it? muhahaha

  • @toki247 old daddies!! (remember 1920)

  • @toki247 I think you should have written Bioshock Infinite!

  • I think It will be a good game. Even if its in the sky... come on Its Bioshock! it cant be bad.

  • I can't wait to see gameplay footage!

  • @CupboardNinja Right, me either this game is going to be great!! Ken Levine himself is better than Infinity Ward!!!! thats right I said it.
