Man do I have bad experience with similar items, magnetic darts always have sucked major bull's balls when it comes to sticking. A slightly too strong of a throw and it just bounces off. Looking a the video, it seems that it still is the case. Is it? Will I have to learn to throw at appropriate force before learning to aim with this?

@Pingstery No. Because the board hangs and isn't mounted directly to the wall, there is some space between the board and the wall, so the darts won't bounce if thrown hard at the board. The "give" created by that space and the fact that the board isn't lying flat against the wall is the secret -- along with super strong magnets.

@cool00789 No, the tips don't come off. Yes, darts will stick to a fridge. You'd still need to hang the board on something to hold it on a fridge. No, the board material won't scratch. No, we don't actually work in cubicles. We each have separate offices. I don't know what you mean by being able to use these darts on a different board.
