Yes, I am Classically trained, by my Mother. She can kick my butt at the Piano. I still practice and utilize my technical training everyday. As a child, I had technique lessons for months. 2 to 3 hrs of practice a day with a 2 hour lesson once a week! No pieces, just Piano exercises!
