I remember being in that shop over the summer on my vacation last year...and openly weeping when I saw the boxed Fort Max on the top shelf for 120000 yen. The price wasn't what got me all emotional it was the fact I had no way of getting it home to the states :(

That's Rodney (Yes, Rodney) one of the rarest Transformers, like, ever, 19900 yen is actually a really good price for him, I still wouldn't pay that much, but, he usually goes for way more. <=v
Hey, Jackfordmac, my brother lives in Tokyo within a stone's throw of Akihabara. I asked him to get me a GP2X WIZ, but 'cos it's Korean the Japs won't sell it 'cos they traditionally HATE each other.
Yer it's great, need to spend a good few days there to take it all in. Im planning another holiday, but thinking of maybe going to Seoul, Korea instead of Japan again.
i like the song and the type of video recording... it looks like its from a transformer doco or somthing. gave it a real nice feel. thanx makes me wana go out and spend $50,000 and start a awsome collection :)
what is the song and band ? i would like 2 hear more
nerdgasm. do you remember what the name of the shop was? A comic/toy/game shop called Mandrake in Nagoya has about a quarter of that range if anybody's interested. I sometimes go there to drool over the in-box Fort Max
Haha, you're correct. I'd say two thirds of this footage was taken from Mandrake. I forgot the name of the second store. The ground floor had transformers and other style figures but the remaining 5 floors were all small gashapon figures. Maybe that narrows it down. Thanks for watching
@BustersTexas Some serious money there, no I'm not over there now, love to go back one day though.

@hthvjd I agree with you! I want F.M. So Badly!!!!
Sadly he failed the drop test so we cant have a reissue. :'(...................(Sobs)
I've even gone to the lengths of putting spare money into a jar till theres enough for one.
It's a steady supply but it'll take a couple years.

jointron33 2 years ago
The most popular thing I saw over there was Gundams.
jackfordmac 2 years ago
