It's worth it. Just make sure you have a spring-biased poppet. I discovered a problem if you use a non-spring poppet.

This first attempt wasn't, but it didn't prove reliable enough. All I did was spring down an ANS Blackout (Made by Ninja) HPA reg to 200psi and mod a CP on/off to direct mount to accept the Mini's transfer tube through the top.

One pressure spike and I blew my solenoid though.

The second version I couldn't get small/light enough.

Empire really came through with the Relay on/off. It is light and works really well. I've had one for 2 months now and LOVE it.

Instead of dumping several thousand dollars into prototyping, patenting and production, I've invested elsewhere for better returns so I can come back to this later.

no take off the old asa from the gun and macro, go buy an on/off and put it on the gun, all on/off asa have purge systems and it doesnt matter what regulator you have

dude....the mini doesn't have macro line, the regulator IS the ASA, it is integrated into the ASA if you remove it you remove the regulator...also the ASA for the mini opens at the top, no macroline fitting, there are NO after market asa's for the mini.
