Somebody tell me how to do fatalities. I follow these damn walkthroughs on paper, nothing ever happens!!! For instance, they tell me press forward then back. Does it mean up & down? It's very confusing

@Mikeydude27 Arrow backwards and forward mean backwards and fowards. You need to stand at a certain distance to do the fatality, for eg if it says 'sweep' stand at a distance where you can sweep your opponent. If it says 'far', then stand all the way on the other side of the screen. If it says 'close' then go right up to your opponent, then enter the buttons. If the button combination has UP arrow in it, then hold block, enter all the directions, release block and press the last button.

@NeonFireSpark The controller buttons. By default, the buttons (PS3) are 1 - Square, 2 - Triangle, 3 - X, 4 - Circle. But you can switch the buttons around to suit your own personal preferences, for example if you swapped Square with X, then X would become 1, and Square would become 3, that is why they use numbers instead so you know what buttons to press according to your own controller setup.

@NeonFireSpark You can't switch stance when you are defeated because you are defeated, you just have to press the button combination quick enough before your opponent does anything to you in order to do the Hara Kiri. For the arrows, hold block, press all the arrows, release block then press the last button. Sweep is the move where you bend down and trip up your opponent. Back + Circle as far as I remember. So be at the distance you need to be for that move to hit, that is sweep distance.
