  • THIS LADY FULL OF SHIT ADVICE

  • Ask if this not true in USA.

  • CNN is a bullshit, western media has totally lost their trust in China and many other conturies. Because its stupid jounilists conceive news and reports!! the world see that. Before this year, maybe there are naive young people believe their reports. But now, no one believe this media has any sense of equality to talk about truth. "CNN" become a a very bad term (almost equals to "son of beatch") used frequently among the young.

  • Thanks for the blunt facts about China.

On a lighter note, the sound problems are weird! At the start, things seem to be in sync, but as it progresses, the gap widens. It's the first time I've seen something like that.

Don't worry about it, though! Still a great vid!

  • are journalists mean to China??? check out the google article and you will get the insights.

  • Rebecca MacKinnon rocks!

  • typical CNN thinking, deliberately horrifying other ,loads of shit!!!

  • Thankyou for the useful info Rebecca has given. Would it be possible to have those software names she mentions listed here? Thanks alot.

  • seinisbelivin "why u ppl wanna the "media freedom " so eagerly to split our country into pieces and humiliate us"

This is the reason why in China there's no need of free media and free expression. One regime media is enough to invent the good news every day of your automaton life. No need to report the true, am I right?

  • why u ppl wanna the "media freedom " so eagerly to split our country into pieces and humiliate us ?

so u come to china to report all negtive stories and laugh at it ?

after so many things happend this year . chinese ppl will not trust any western media and even hate u . face it .

  • get for real..how come brave chinese reporters even fight against censorship because they are freaking tired of oppression by that evil dictator?

    just google *Schü Siang*

  • Actually, you can access Wikipedia in china now. Blogspot, too.

  • How come always talk about the security? It sounds like that western journalists are spys.

  • Well, of course we are all spies [plural of spy] just like every good Chinese that reports back to their government on everything [and everyone] that doesn't walk that straight, communist line.

  • like lookyeahhohon said, if you dunt want to be hacked the only way to do so might be to left your brain home.

the problem is not how to avoid the hacking, which makes this video so bull---. the question is who do you think you r and what makes you think that you r worth hacking?

your so lost in your prejudice against china

  • Balflear,

You major in computer science and said statements about gmail "and other so-called secure things" are wrong.

How are the statements wrong? Please explain.

  • you r avoiding my topic,so i am avoiding yours too

    :p

go figure it out yourself if you really want to know, i paid a lot of money for my knowledge i am not giving it away for free. if my memory isn't wrong, you cnn had a fake show about chinese hackers who hacks the Pentagon. why dont you go ask them if gmail or anything like that is safer than the US military headquarters' computer?i mean like if any government (including your own) wants to hack you, do you think any software would block them.

  • Balflear,

Yes, I welcome discussions and am open to being persuaded my point of view is wrong.

One thing I remain convinced about is that the free flow of information and open discussion is a good thing.

Please clarify what you see as wrong about gmail and secure methods of communication? I am sure others would like to know as well.

  • i dunt have that much interest of "persuading" you, i just want to tell how i think, and your agreement on me is not as important to me as you think.

the free flow of information and open discussion is a good thing.but ppl's choice of how their own country works should be respected too. like i am in canada now, i see a lot of things here could be done better in our chinese ways, but i am not bitching it cuz its none of my business.

if you dunt get that, then our country doesnt welcome you.

  • Balflear,

I am curious: Is anyone who questions China or the Chinese government incorrect or "Bullshit" in your eyes?

  • no

anyone who comments on things he/she doesnt know and pretends to be an expert will be considered as incorrect or bullshit in my eyes

you can definitely say that china has this censorship thing and i knew it is true, i cannot and wont argue on that fact.

its just that i major in computer science and what you said about the gmail and other so called secure things are so , may i borrow your words -- "stupid", or "bullshit" in my words.

  • and i am curious too: is anyone who questions your point of view on china 50-cent?

i just saw your pathetic (opps, sorry i said it) watch-list, and to be honest with you i really think that if you and your clever friends in the western media industry put your time and energy in other things instead of bullshitting about other countries and things that r none of ur business. the world will be much more clear and peaceful.

  • Balflear,

You are wrong: I am full of bullshit.

I do, however, attempt to fully explain myself and enjoy a reasoned discussion with those who disagree.

I think you are not clear on the meaning of censorship.

  • well we dunt totally disgree with each other. at least i agree with you on the "full of bullshit" part. see? both of us r happy now.

i admire your braveness and honesty. since you already know where the problem is, please work on it to become a less bullshiting person and i hope that you and your beautiful cnn friend's stay in china will help.

    good luck

  • Balflear: Why would I delete reasonable comments that are not crude?

  • why would you do that?

god knows, thats really not a question to ask others.

here is one which is: how do you tell reasonable from crude?

and i believe that what you guys do are considered as "crude" things by most of chinese ppl, yeah i mean ppl not only the government.

is that fair enough to make the so-called-by-you "censorship of china" legal and reasonable for you?

you know what? thats bullshit. sorry if you feel offenced or whatever, but i reasoned, and thats my reasonable conclude.

  • Balflear,

If you leave a comment saying only "Bullshit", I consider that crude and meaningless.

It also makes you look stupid and does not advance any discussion.

You seems to be a very angry person.

  • why r u being so defensive. i didnt attack anyone for gods sake

and you can say that i am stupid but i dunt get the right to say "that's bullshit"?

what a non-bushitting, non-stupid, reasonable and fair person you r.

and when you see something that you think is "crude" and then you remove it, we call it censorship.

  • hello

apperently you dont like and cannot take my first comment,so that you deleted it and then sent me a msg to "warn" me. although your words are pretended to be somehow kind of polite and titled as "thank you",the action of deleting my comment is still another kind of a censorship if you ask me,just in a very passive aggressive way tho.i guess the chinese government has the same rights as you do -- to delete something they dont like in there own territory, and both of you did use that "right".

  • so dont judge on them, you guys are no better than them.and when i was saying "thats bullshit" in my first comment, thats how i really feel when i finished watching your video and i am not attacking anyone by comment on what they are, i just dunt like what they do. if you cannot take this one again, feel free to delete it too, but i am afraid that i will post it again, since i was told that i have a "freedom of speech" here and you dont need to pretent to be "polite" this time if you dunt like me.

  • haha...no matter what you use, we can break it...we are considering putting implants into the brains of CNN reporters/novelist in order to locate where and how they meet with the CIA,,so leave your brains home as always.

  • Dear viewers: Apologies about the sound. Can't seem to make it sync.
