It would help A WHOLE FUCKING LOT if the game let you run into the previous room to open those sweet, sweet health & magic chests that I (and probably about 50,000 other people) purposely saved.
@jm4cp After the second set of enemies, you could re-enter that room, as long as you dont take the priest beyond the magic gate. Even if you could enter that room after taking the priest past the magic gate, the third set of enemies would emerge and the translator would be killed if left unattended
@itsjusmesnitches That's so true. Those dogs are relentless. Have since passed it, Barbarians Hammer worked for me. Titan Mode is extremely frustrating, but all the more satisfying when you pass it. :-)
The most frustrating thing about this is that when you lose you would have to go through waves 1 & 2 again!! Why the hell do I have to repeat those every single time?!
I always seem to kill the translator myself!! I think most of the damage he receives are because I kick dogs, throw soldiers, use Atlas Quake, or even counter with the Golden Fleece!! Any tips to avoid that?
A tip I can give (take it or not I don't care, but it worked with me):
From this part on (3:25) try just using Cronos Rage with the dogs and the fleece with the soldiers. Take care of the priest later, but DONT use NEVER Atlas Quake...it consumes valuable mana. ;)
i can't believe that the fates soldiers did not attack the translator when the openly had the opportunity , ... like when you were breaking the heads of the weird dogs ... they were just looking at you ...
+ ... the spinny whirlpool of green thing that the High Priest fires does only that much damage!? ... i find it hard to believe that ... :P
but other than that .. i have no doubt this is titan mode, ... cuz of the amount of red orbs is so less ... 18,000 without upgrading ANYTHING ...
@naruto261998 The little green whirlpools do almost no damage, however it is used to slow you down a bit for a few seconds. To me the most amazing thing in the video is how precise he can be with the hammer, and how quick he dispatched the priests. In comparison I used CoA level 4 and they take forever to kill,

this is not titan mode........... that is normal mode, in titan mode they enemies go for the translator as soon as you even try to kill the monster spawner what ever the fuck he is. Yeah this is definitely not titan mode this is pretty much bullshyt.

This is Easy. The only hard part is the 3rd Wave. Still, this guy does it with a small as life bar. and this is a No Upgrade Run, so none of his weapons are upgraded. And he barely loses life. The Translator gets hit, I think once. Give the man some props.

I finished the game in God Mode... and i just passed this part in Titan Mode, but my PS2 is dirty and it does not read the video T-T ... bad for me ah? ... look, here is a tip... You must activated the Rage of the Titan as soon as you enter in the room... put a "Chrono's Rage" on the translator and atack at the predicator... repeat this until he die, ... when the others two predicators appear, attack them WITHOUT MERCY (with the Chrono's rage help) xD
i agree with jak2z this is not titan mode the enemys in this mode are more easy to kill but in titan mode they are more agressive and mutch harder to kill so stop making fake videos.............
this is not titan mode, dickhead! the damage is too low (in titan mode kratos and the translator die with only 3-4 attacks) and all those enemies are too much weaks and especially stupids: in titan mode they don't lose chances to kill that fuckin trans, not even a second! i've finished titan mode and it's not so easy...
i know, it drives you mad 'cause it's nearly impossible! all i can say about this damned part is that u have to kill as soon as possible those fucking invokers of monsters and use all the magic u have (especially that of atlas) to keep distant all the others from the translator...
I played most of the game on Titan Mode (with upgrades) along with these videos. I had beaten it on Spartan and God Mode before. Was great to see the perfection for which I was striving. Unfortunately I think I'm permanently stuck on the Endurance Run before Clothos.
I finished this sick game yesterday for the first time on Titan mode and I´m not planning to play it ever again like that.Didn´t try to get help from those videos expect at this point.That final point was just too frustrating at this. I don´t know what that Clothos part is but the last difficult part was the corridor before that loom chamber. And I dont recommend this to anyone who had any difficulties with the second hardest difficulty level.Even if you are looking for a challenge.
Yeah thanks. I´ve known it for a couple of months. It just wasn´t told in the game that the freak third sister was called Clothos and the part was called "Endurance Run". At least I don´t remember anyway if they were
*breathes heavily* This part is the single MOST ANNOYING part in God of War 2. It makes you want to throw whatever's nearby at the television when "You have failed" comes up for the 500th time - it's just mocking you by that stage.

i think they ignore the translater if you have started a fight and if u keeo up close with the NPC i think they are going after you and if you dont know you can throw the dogs items that are being throwed in Titanmode is doing more dmg some places are easyer on titan mode then god mode :D hope this helped

yeh ive beated GOW 2 on TiTAN myself, hardest part the loong fight at the end with the magic walls that pops up and diseapears and second hardest is the boss with the ice lance. (can't even believe i actually did it lol)
im doing this part now and its fucking hard!!!!!! U have ultimate skills dude. i used that strategy with first wave wich U used with second. i thought they are too fast to do it with second.well im going to try it now good work with that!
what i did is i get all the possible help i could get, from upgrading your health and magic to collecting as much red orbs. the hammer would be very useful and the head of euryale i upgraded each to lvl 2, perfect parry will be needed and a huge amount of LUCK!!!

This s definately titan mode, but I noticed several times where the enemies woulda totally attacked the translator and NOT kratos. You're definately lucky to some extent.
another thing you can do: when getting behind the gate and attacking the enemies, you can also use the spear to attack. I've noticed that it's faster, and it yeilds magic when killing.

Hate to burst your bubble dudes but this is NOT Titan mode, its an un upgraded run on God mode, thats all!, Snibobier is no doubt 1 of the best players of God of War that i have ever seen and i cant take that away from him, but WE HAVE enough experience on Titan mode to know exactly how tough Titan mode really is, and how much of your health bar gets knocked out from just 1 hit, and btw on Titan mode the level 1 Hammer takes at least 12 hits to kill a Satytr not 8 or 9 from memory

Lol, somebody has seen the light!...all you have to do is play Titan mode for yourself and see that this is TOTALLY DIFFERENT, they are almost blind to the translator in here proving this aint Titan mode.....this is the second hardest part in the whole game, as its not just your health you have to protect but the translator who when he gets hit on Titan mode loses up to 65% of his health bar..in here its hardly nothing

If you notice, the enemies attack relentlessly, and the dog throw does a LOT of damage. People's argument is that there arn't enough enemies for it to be Titan mode. Well, possibly, when you did it, you let the scribes summon monsters, meaning there were more monsters. See?
shinobier, you ROCK. I went through hell with that part. I could finish the first group (the guys and the dogs), but this cane-wielding martial artist is such a badass, I couldn't finish that part without a lot of scars. That door trick was f*cking awesome. And that last battle = epic. You rule, man.
This is a very good thing but i tried it and when the translator got under the stand i did everything u did, but the sorcerer person came in front and cast a spell on the ground hurting the translator and makin me lose.
it's called RotT. during you are in RotT, the damage you receive go down to 1/2(and 1/4 after kraken battle).
you had way more enemies? the only reason you got more enemies was you were too slow to kill them and didn't know what to kill first.
if you need real prove that this was titan mode, check collision damage. try to kick hound to those mops on normal mode. it takes like 8-9 hits to kill them. and try it on titan, 2 hound kicks they are dead.
seriously though im on the translator AGAIN lol iv done it on NUR and GK NUR so were all good there but im there once again ready to get angry with it lol. Your videos are well done and I, at least, appreciate them, however do you have one when you use No magic? cos that could be a good challenge. Manesh who did the speedrun for this was trying a no magic no rage run NUR, unless it was absolutely neccessary to use it. Im trying the same could be a good show eh lol

how do I select bonus play? I already found all the urns and am playing on titan. But when I was at the start screen, I couldn't find the Bonus Play option when I scrolled down or in the Options menu.
you can only start a bonus play when you beat the game on that certain difficulty. On new game, if a sword icon is displayed beside the difficulty that means it'll ask you either you want to play the new game fresh or play bonus with all weapons and upgrades from the last save plus using urns and costumes. If it doesn't that means you have to beat it first to unlock bonus play

"Protect the translator" and "Cerebus breeders" are the most difficult parts in this game in my opinion.

I played most of the game on Titan Mode (with upgrades) along with these videos. I had beaten it on Spartan and God Mode before. Was great to see the perfection for which I was striving. Unfortunately I think I'm permanently stuck on the Endurance Run before Clothos.

I finished this sick game yesterday for the first time on Titan mode and I´m not planning to play it ever again like that.Didn´t try to get help from those videos expect at this point.That final point was just too frustrating at this. I don´t know what that Clothos part is but the last difficult part was the corridor before that loom chamber. And I dont recommend this to anyone who had any difficulties with the second hardest difficulty level.Even if you are looking for a challenge.

Yeah thanks. I´ve known it for a couple of months. It just wasn´t told in the game that the freak third sister was called Clothos and the part was called "Endurance Run". At least I don´t remember anyway if they were

*breathes heavily* This part is the single MOST ANNOYING part in God of War 2. It makes you want to throw whatever's nearby at the television when "You have failed" comes up for the 500th time - it's just mocking you by that stage.

i think they ignore the translater if you have started a fight and if u keeo up close with the NPC i think they are going after you and if you dont know you can throw the dogs items that are being throwed in Titanmode is doing more dmg some places are easyer on titan mode then god mode :D hope this helped

yeh ive beated GOW 2 on TiTAN myself, hardest part the loong fight at the end with the magic walls that pops up and diseapears and second hardest is the boss with the ice lance. (can't even believe i actually did it lol)

what i did is i get all the possible help i could get, from upgrading your health and magic to collecting as much red orbs. the hammer would be very useful and the head of euryale i upgraded each to lvl 2, perfect parry will be needed and a huge amount of LUCK!!!

This s definately titan mode, but I noticed several times where the enemies woulda totally attacked the translator and NOT kratos. You're definately lucky to some extent.

another thing you can do: when getting behind the gate and attacking the enemies, you can also use the spear to attack. I've noticed that it's faster, and it yeilds magic when killing.

Just beat this part today on titan mode.
I did a different strategy for the last part though.
I went after the sorcerer first and whoever went near the Translator would have a taste of the Quake.
After the first sorcerer died, the battle became more confusing so I had to depend on luck and different strategies.
lol this part was so annoying, and I think it's godly that you beat it without upgrades.

Hate to burst your bubble dudes but this is NOT Titan mode, its an un upgraded run on God mode, thats all!, Snibobier is no doubt 1 of the best players of God of War that i have ever seen and i cant take that away from him, but WE HAVE enough experience on Titan mode to know exactly how tough Titan mode really is, and how much of your health bar gets knocked out from just 1 hit, and btw on Titan mode the level 1 Hammer takes at least 12 hits to kill a Satytr not 8 or 9 from memory

nah, sorry, this is nothing more than normal or God mode, but definately NOT Titan mode...if you look carefully he dosent lose a 1/4 of his healthbar but only loses what would happen when hit twice in very quick succession on God mode......plus theres hardly any enemies as there would be in Titan mode WITTHOUT EXCEPTION...this vid is an utter disgrace to all those who have played on Titan mode and struggled to get past this extraordinarily hard part in the game for real

Thanks dude but its true, even though we can and never will take away Shinobiers skill at playing god of war, because he is very good, these vids from him ARE NOT TITAN MODE as extensive analysis has proven with enemy attack patterns, frequency, hit points, damage taken etc all show that theres no way on earth this is titan mode....sorry to burst any ones bubbles here :)

Lol, somebody has seen the light!...all you have to do is play Titan mode for yourself and see that this is TOTALLY DIFFERENT, they are almost blind to the translator in here proving this aint Titan mode.....this is the second hardest part in the whole game, as its not just your health you have to protect but the translator who when he gets hit on Titan mode loses up to 65% of his health bar..in here its hardly nothing

dude there is a big difference in god mode and titan mode. this is really titan mode and the way he battles just do the same like him and you'll see you'll lose not much life and you can succeed at titan mode. i'm stuck at this to but i'm almost there i know it and then i quite this game really takes me to much time

I respect your gaming prowess Shinobier. You truly are a master of GOW 2. I remember you from the SOTC boards....back in the day...anyway, this IS Titan mode. If you notice, the enemies attack relentlessly, and the dog throw does a LOT of damage. People's argument is that there arn't enough enemies for it to be Titan mode. Well, possibly, when you did it, you let the scribes summon monsters, meaning there were more monsters. See?

I could finish the first group (the guys and the dogs), but this cane-wielding martial artist is such a badass, I couldn't finish that part without a lot of scars. This is a very good thing but i tried it and when the translator got under the stand i did everything u did, but the sorcerer person came in front and cast a spell on the ground hurting the translator and makin me lose.

it's called RotT. during you are in RotT, the damage you receive go down to 1/2(and 1/4 after kraken battle).
you had way more enemies? the only reason you got more enemies was you were too slow to kill them and didn't know what to kill first.
if you need real prove that this was titan mode, check collision damage. try to kick hound to those mops on normal mode. it takes like 8-9 hits to kill them. and try it on titan, 2 hound kicks they are dead.
try playing it again and don't sux this time

seriously though im on the translator AGAIN lol iv done it on NUR and GK NUR so were all good there but im there once again ready to get angry with it lol. Your videos are well done and I, at least, appreciate them, however do you have one when you use No magic? cos that could be a good challenge. Manesh who did the speedrun for this was trying a no magic no rage run NUR, unless it was absolutely neccessary to use it. Im trying the same could be a good show eh lol

Lol I saw one for Ninja Gaiden Black on Very Hard mode, which, if you know much about the game takes the mick Just do each fighting segment and take nooooo damge at all lol. Iv got a few Titan saves going on at the moment Speedrun being my least impressive hahah but could be a good video show.

how do I select bonus play? I already found all the urns and am playing on titan. But when I was at the start screen, I couldn't find the Bonus Play option when I scrolled down or in the Options menu.

you can only start a bonus play when you beat the game on that certain difficulty. On new game, if a sword icon is displayed beside the difficulty that means it'll ask you either you want to play the new game fresh or play bonus with all weapons and upgrades from the last save plus using urns and costumes. If it doesn't that means you have to beat it first to unlock bonus play
