I was born and raised in Bamberg, what a beautiful video! I miss the authentic Beergardens so much, and a real Bratwurst with Sauerkraut! LOL!

Living in sunny L.A. now has it's price, but going back to visit the family as often as possible! do the same Bamberg's!!:) Prost!:)

Thanks for sharing this video. Even thou I did not go to Bamberg when I was living in Germany, I heard of its beuty and its beer. I'm sorry I missed it but I still hope to go back to Germany on vacation some time in the near future and visit this great corner of Germany and enjoy its beer.

I lived in Bamberg, for 11 years, 1980-1991 and loved every minute of it. It is amazing how often we drove or walked by all those sights and never gave them a second thought. Now, almost 20 years later and having watched your video, I'm having pangs to return for a visit.

I was station in Bamberg from 1987 to 1990. Being in the Army there was tough. My wife and I love the small town fill of the city. Very American friendly there.

Bamberg is definetly one of the most amazing towns in Germany. No other town combines as much lust for life and historical beauty. But do not think this is just a museum trip, Bamberg offers you the beauty in all day living - it does not ask for entry fees it just gives you the small pleasures of life every day.

I´m very proud that so many people in the world like my hometown. I love it. Around Bamberg there are many beatiful places too. I hope that many tourists and soldiers visit this places. Here some exampels what you can visit: Staffelstei and Staffelberg, Lewis Museum in Buttenheim (Lewis was a german :-)), Kloster Banz, Vierzehnheiligen and much more.
