In other ways, Helen Sherman, a british scientist, flown on April 19 1991 with the russian Soyuz TM12 mission to space station MIR. She was selecting beating 13.000 applicants to be the first british Astronaut. The program was named "JUNO" and an arrangement between the Soviet Union and some private british companies.
