  • By applying a potential to nerve points - treated. What are you doing with your body? Sorry for bad English.

  • you are awesome. i love ur stuff!

  • try this with your butt

  • iff you put that on penis..... and play some rock you get orgasm?

  • Hi daito,, how much faster you can do it that??

it must have a max frequency for each muscle, Do you know about that??

  • THAT's to FEEL the music in your fucking face!

  • you need to hook some electrodes up to your vocal cords and exhale

  • the japanese are too smart for tere own good....

  • Mad scientist working his trade... :O

    That looks hella uncomfortable.

  • its funny but it could easily be faked. come on. really?

  • @datcannabis He's got electrodes on his face, and his movements are clearly involuntary. No human could voluntarily do this. Not at the speed he is.

  • @Sonoskeakigawa

i get your point that his facial muscle would be burning tired after a minute or two of constant movement. but its only 3 minutes long, it is possible to fake this shit. the chances of it being real or as equal to it being fake

  • @datcannabis Facial muscles get tired after only a single minute, sometimes even less time.

  • @Sonoskeakigawa chesticles

  • *insert zing here*

  • You know what this kid is sitting on a hollywood gold mine. Call it the best face work out.

  • What's the purpose on doing it other that get your face taze?

  • You people...need...help...

    Hahahahaha....

    This is funny...

  • Don't do this on LSD or mushrooms! It's insane!

  • Вот народу заняться нечем))))

  • LOL

  • que loco!!!!!

  • love the tune

  • play some dubstep.. and his face will be stuck! lol

  • play through the fire and flames and see what happens

  • More like Daito WANABE :)

  • @lokomakoko FUCKING WEAK JOKE

  • Nothing magical here :D

The electricity forces the muscles to pull togheter :D

  • @Elementboy6522 So it's not really a workout?

  • @TheCoolMardigan Weeeeell... I THINK it would be possible to use electricity for workout... But im not sure :P

  • @Elementboy6522 That would be awesome.

  • @Elementboy6522 :D go :D do :D it :D then :D ?

  • is that electrocuting you?!

  • thats fucking weird

  • @1001864001

Yes it was pretty unusual. I can't recall where I saw it. It may have been the documentary The Incredible Human Body. That documentary is worth watching even if it isn't the one containing the electrode experiment. The movement wast very smooth as you could imagine. Hard to control hundreds of muscles elegantly with just 2-3 controls on a remote.

  • @lancenewman1978 Are you talking about "the face"?. Open up an anatomy book, dude. There aren't hundreds or muscles in the face...

  • @1001864001

Good points 1001864001. Feeling the "burning" from the build up would still happen and obviously my comment to stopping the exhaustion wouldn't be possible unless the electrodes were removed. Thanks for bringing that to light.

I had a video in my mind that I watched where electrodes were placed all over a human body and they were controlled via wireless remote somewhat like controlling a remote control car or an automaton. That would obviously use more energy per minute than this.

  • I saw this on Engadget like 2 or 3 years ago, pretty funny stuff. Is it just me or does he look a lot like that famous homeless guy who inspired some fashion in China earlier in the year?

  • @JapplengUniversity

yeah, he look a lot like that guy.

  • Omg dude this is so cool! Is it actual stimulus or are you just that good at face warping?? :O

  • I really enjoy you're videos!

  • is this real?

    OMFG

  • this looks like it hurts o_o

  • I would like to see this test done with dubstep. That would possibly be ridiculous.

  • weird and neat :D

  • How in the hell are you not laughing? This is hilarious.

  • i wonder if excessive stimulation would lead to muscle exhaustion or over extension in some way using all the calcium and energy required to constantly stimulate the muscles? ie -citrus acid cycle or lactic acid buildup?

of course the question is would you be able to feel the exhaustion and stop it as needed to give the muscles and possibly the nerves a rest.

    any comments?

  • there really wasnt any music, he was just taking a shit

  • i like you..but you're crazy.

  • @MrTerryTrees in america there is something similar...the electric chair ;)

  • monkey having an orgasm

  • U r soo cool!!!..

  • Did this hurt your face at all?

    かおがいたいですか。

  • some korean show went to this guy to see if it was real and it is

  • They should make a "What happens when Daito Manabe gets his electric" thing

  • I fucking love the japanese.

  • @WoodenToaster Me too. They try and do every weird thing I can think of, and many, many, many more I have not even heard of. I'm beginning to think that the A-bombs did a little more than we picked up on...

  • @TeddyOG ok thats an sensitive subject but I wouldn't be surprised if there is some truth to that.

    -JustSayin

  • @TeddyOG ok thats an sensitive subject but I wouldn't be surprised if there is some truth to that.

    -JustSayin

Having said that; It is a kind of cool experiment though.

  • @Solfoch Maybe there's an extra synapse or part of the brain that got opened up that we have no idea about. Not saying the japanese are x-men or mutants or anything, but they certainly are interesting... Maybe my psychology proposal will be about them? haha

  • @WoodenToaster

    explain why.

  • play a very fast music ;D it did be cool~ ;D

    nice invention ;D

  • brilliant!

  • Are the wires hooked up to his face doing that?! Weird!

  • cool!!;)

  • dud what the hell this is not safe for you brain

  • This must hurt..

  • @leepad85 Not really he isnt doing anything, the electricity is. Its contracting his muscles making them move the way it does in this video. he feels no pain at all except maybe the shock from the pads.

  • BS. i think he memorized it. lul

  • that fucks up your nervs

  • เหนื่อยไหมจ๊ะ

    ฮร่าๆๆๆๆๆ

  • Genius

  • A Dj should have such a thing

  • play flight of the bumblebee

  • haha, wow. I have a tens machine for nerve pain relief, I am sure it is the same thing but connected to beats. weird.

  • Cool Dude Epic! One For The AGES!

  • rofl @ 01:48

  • imagine if his mom walked in on him doing that Lol

  • its a put on

  • does it hurt?

  • yes dethklok would kill him.

  • I would imagine some Dethklok on this thing would kill him.

  • lets play some hard techno

  • lolz, i dunno about u but i wear shoes in teh club, electricity dont work too good thru shoes :P

    nice idea tho

  • reminds me of that cadbury ad ...

  • Difference is, this is actually cool.

  • WOW whatta face coordination! I cant do that lol

  • he's not doing it, the electric signals are making his face do that.

  • WHoever thinks this is fake is obviously unobservant. To move the muscles in your face in the combinations that this man does, it HAS to be electrical stimuli, as certain (IE: Eyebrow musculature) facial muscles cannot move seperately without being forced to do so.

  • and this can cure my back ache!

  • i'd love to put it on someone's face while he's having an orgasm.

  • what song is this? so neat!

  • sound like 8bit music, oldgames (super mario, zelda, castlevania)

  • You are a badass.

  • Comment removed

  • haha! the ending was hilarious!

  • why?

  • do not get it how this works? you listening and moving your self or electrodes does it like that. would be so intresting to know

    thanks.

  • It's nearly impossible to move your face that well and specifically on your own. I'm assuming it is done by making a musical track, setting specific electrodes to go off at a certain point in the track and then it makes a slight shock to his face causing it to twitch.

  • Woooww... this is the most bizarre thing I've seen in youtube... jajaja but at the same time hilarious and interesting... wow... what a mix of senses... jajaja

  • I'm confused can someone tell me what i'm seeing?

  • The sounds are sending signals to the electrodes. Different electrodes go off based on the sound. What the electrodes are doing is making certain muscles contract. The music is basically making his face dance lol.

  • its a robot trying to talk....

  • Someone should try this with speed metal or some hard techno

  • wtf oO nice

  • effin awesome~

  • no.. put some electrodes in your face and activate them somehow..

  • It's not messing anything up, it's just an electrical impulse passing through the nerves in his face through the electric pads.

There's no damage being done here, it just looks really cool.

  • We dont know for sure... The human body is one of the greates mysterys, we know more 'bout space than 'bout our own body...

  • Actually, we know million times more about our own body than space :P

  • And how is that so sure?

Space is pretty predictable, but we don't know when the flue hits.

Also, I haven't seen any public simulators about human body, but many exists for space simulation. Even for public use.

Space is pretty simple, but the understanding of human physiology is far from as great understand as space.

That is my opinion. You, in fact, can change it, by giving me enough proof to back your argument up.

  • Actually, space still isn't well known. It still isn't proven that black holes exist, it's still a theory. They know they do, they just can't prove it.

Whenever something is solved with the mystery of space, a million more things to solve pop-up.

  • Odd, I thought that there are pictures proving it, but I also may be wrong. Can you link me some articles about yout argument? (I sound, really, smartass :D)

  • Black holes were proven quite a while ago....

  • @ChrisArnol9010

Um black holes are proven; it's the fact that the death of a super, super sized sun imploding before it really knows it's dead, causes the formation of a super compact 'star'. A heart of a star so compact and so heavy not even light escapes.

I would think that's proof enough black holes exist, when light goes in, and -nothing- comes out.

  • @YamsRyu Yes i know that now, thanks for your comment though.

  • okay, we can at least SEE every part of the human body, can you even SEE every part of space? can you tell us how many planets exist in the universe or even how many galaxies exist?

answer this question(the others were rhetorical)

Which, if any, of these three variables are not always constant?

    -Light

    -Distance

    -Time

  • Distance, because universe is expanding :P

  • "which variables are not always constant?"

    You high man?

  • "Which, if any, of these three variables are not always constant?"

    lol epic fail

  • @balist0 hahahahhahaha

  • Don't know, but looks painful as sh1t!

  • It might feel funny but it's probably not painful at all.

  • it isnt that painfull but its very disturbing it happend to my leg

  • no, i had this done so that i could get a night guard since i clinch my teeth really badly. i had it video taped and it looked really funny, my face did the same thing, there just wasnt any cool pattern, and it doesnt hurt^^

  • genius

  • Thanks 4 smoke weed dude!

  • lol look at his eyebrows

    must hurt ALOT

  • why ? Oo'

  • hes constanly moving them Lol

  • this probably would have sounded better if he had tried a SMILE!!! why do all these art types feel the need to take themselves so seriously?

  • But it sounds amazing anyway and perhaps he did'nt want to smile as it was not his intention. He is the artist and we are the audience. He is quite unique and I love it!!!

  • What in the hell are you talking about? He's trying to demonstrate the electrodes moving his face and his face isn't triggering the noise. The music was made before so it wouldn't sound different no matter what he did and if he smiled it wouldn't have worked on his mouth as well and it wouldn't have had the same effect.

  • THE FUTURE OF DANCING!!!!

  • is that swelling in your left eye that i see?

  • Comment removed

  • Seriously you people are totally missing the art of what he did and are really focusing on some really minimal shit so what his faces is screwed still great electronic sounds in a clever what that tack great technical skill

  • Good face workout! Has to be annoying though <3

  • 2:29 was funniest face LMAO

  • no mames !!!!! con madres este pedo
