it was sad day when RC retired. my favorite thing in the world used to be flippin on OLN every sunday and watchin him do battle with Bubba. Them 2 and Reed were always at the top, but Ricky was on a different level
ok people seriously stop having a fight about eli and barcia on a ricky video. both of those kids are crazy and both of them are great riders. besides half of you on here including myself could never touch either one of them on the track. give the kids some credit either way. not many people can make it to the top like they have.
dungey is the replacement ricky. which is why they're only a number apart. they ride exactly the same! soooo excited to see dungey dominate. then barcia'll come up and he'll make the 450's class amazing! supercross is gonna be amazing the next few years! :)

@76supercross Jeremy may have something to say about that statement. Both are definitely legends in their own era, and both are probably in the top 5 racers of all time.
And - you can't ever exclude the great racers of the 80's, my friend. Those guys were kicking ass on the 500cc (2 stroke) motocross scene long before some of these guys were born. It took a real racer to tame those beasts!
Oh and Ricky vs. Stewart have such good battles. Would have been nice to still have Carmichael in the game. Would make for awesome races mixing it up with them and Villopoto, Reed etc.

maaan, MX is the only sport (besides BMX) that I actually make an attempt to watch. I root for certain basketball, football, baseball and soccer teams (im brazilian) but I almost die watching it. MX Im just like Ill glued. I heard of RC in a game, and ever since he's been the image of who to associate with MX. I admit that I used to hate RC. When he first came on the scene I hated his surly attitude and punk-kid ass-whipping of McGrath.and others
But as he matured as both a rider, spokesman, and person, I grew to admire him for who he truly was.
At Broome-Tioga, he had already clinched the title. Didn't need to even ride the 2nd moto.He crashed behind Stewart, but got up, and rode his ASS off to catch and pass Bubba for the win!

maaan, MX is the only sport (besides BMX) that I actually make an attempt to watch. I root for certain basketball, football, baseball and soccer teams (im brazilian) but I almost die watching it. MX Im just like Ill glued. I heard of RC in a game, and ever since he's been the image of who to associate with MX. I've always liked freestyle more, but the MX vs. ATV games really got me hooked on racing as well. Fuckin great Ricky, still keep muthafuckin' that bike up racing! even if not pro!

I admit that I used to hate RC. When he first came on the scene I hated his surly attitude and punk-kid ass-whipping of McGrath.and others
But as he matured as both a rider, spokesman, and person, I grew to admire him for who he truly was.
At Broome-Tioga, he had already clinched the title. Didn't need to even ride the 2nd moto.He crashed behind Stewart, but got up, and rode his ASS off to catch and pass Bubba for the win!
Man, that kid had more heart than any rider, ever! Love ya, RC!!!!

ricky has inspired me to try my hardest. i race motocross. someday i would love to make into the pro ranks and ricky has truely inspired me to get there. im not going to give up. i wish i could meet him in person.
