  • wow gives me the shivers. Wish I was there.

  • best moment everr

  • So excellent that moment was. :-)

  • MANILA 4020 OLYMPICS!!!!!!!!! hehehehehehehehe

  • Rio 2016. Wait...

  • A fantastic day for London and the UK that no amount of evil terrorist scumbags can ever take away from us.

    Come on London!

  • From an Aussie perspective I always wanted London to win the games!! Well deserved England!! We will see you in 2012! -- I hope David Beckham won't be lighting the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony.. fingers crossed! I think it should be your guy who won the Men's Decathlon at LA'84!

  • I agree. David Becham does not even live in the UK. I can't believe he went to beijing to represent it. He lives in the US.

  • certainly a day to remember! come on london!

  • wheres a video of the french loosing once again

  • People...chill this is not a debate about whether Becks, it's about us kicking the ass of the "putain" frogs to get the 2012 olympics. GO LONDON, GO ENGLAND, GO BRITAIN.

PS - David Beckham, was a legend in his Man Utd days, obviously as a player ages, he's going to lose some talents, but hey that's football.

    F***ing proud to be British!

  • woah woah woah the last time david beckham scored was when england played their first match at the 2006 world cup moron

  • David Beckham, Our Sporting Hero? WTF! He's the one that has ditched the UK for spain and then the USA. and he hadn't scored for england in a years at one point! HE IS NOT A HERO.

  • haha fuck the french!!!

DAVID BECKHAM OUR SPORTING HERO HELPED US WIN THIS - A GREAT DAY FOR ENGLAND!!!

  • the sound is a second foward

  • why did people cheer before it was even announced? are they psychic?

  • lol yeh that was wierd

  • because the press (the people who cheered) got the news before us common people in the cheap seats!! They were listening to a live feed or the radio and we were watching the big screen which had a delay!!

  • I had my radio with me in Trafalgar Square, and I quickly realised that I heard Jacques Rogge's voice on the radio before the big screen, so I was one of the people who cheered first.

  • I've lived in London for nearly 7 years now, and this was by far the best moment I've ever experienced in this city. I remember when the jets flew over immediately afterwards. Just... fantastic.
