@beavus1000 I just mean the ones on the main story. They're not really hidden...just require a bit of backtracking to trigger. For example, (1) in the cabin when the big guy with the beard grabs you buy the throat, after the cutscene, follow him back through the door he went through at the start of the next chapter. (2) And after you beat Del Lago (the lake monster), take the boat back to the first dock where you came.

(3) Then when you're in the cabin with Luis, shoot him several times.

It's curious how the people tends to say that the worst title in a videogame series is the best... PLEASE, the best RE ever is 1 (and its remake)!!!! In fact RE4 is pretty awful, and marked the destruction and decadence of the series with its poor quality and its gameplay, which makes it DEFINITELY not an original survival horror game but an action one. BTW, the PC port is the worst PC port ever.

I remember when I first played RE4, I was PISSED about how much they changed the gameplay. It took me only about 15-20 minutes to fall completely in love with it though. It's not my favorite game of all time.

The initial stages of RE4 was scrapped but then became the platform for Devil May Cry series.

The Beta version of RE4 was like a mix of Fatal Frame, Silent Hill, the original RE gamestyle, and the new RE gamestyle.

The Final version of RE4 was more action styled than survivor horror styled, and became a legacy in next-gen gaming.

@thetimerbombman Capcom didn't force them to change it. The developers themselves thought the 'fog version' was to supernatural for a Resident Evil title and strayed too far from the origins of the virus, so they scrapped the idea and it ended up becoming it's own franchise (Devil May Cry). ; )

In RE5, it's just a bunch of scared and aggravated black people trying to kill you/cause you mild discomfort, but playing RE4 for the first time, hearing the way the ganados growl and yell at you, as Dr. Salvador revs his chainsaw up and they surround the shotgun house, it's really something. Something you just don't and can't get in RE5

Fantastic game. 5 is fun yeah, but 4 is much better. I'm not going to compare it to the earlier games in the series cos they're completely different, more scary. 5 is more intense. The Regenerators and Iron Maidens from 4 terrify me though :l Haha

yes it's a great action adventure game, but a resident evil game not realy, i still prefer Re 2, and since this game features Leon why is the blonde girl your supposed to save not Sherry Birkin.

She could have been the presidents foster child since both her parents died. And it would have been cool if the whole reason she got captured was because she had obtained the G-virus in her bloodstream from her father.

And Ada Wong all the sudden she shows up but Leon does not even seem suppriced

Leon is pretty much crap compared to Chris. Chris specifically helped take down Umbrella. He fought against Wesker over 3 times and lived. He took part in killing Wesker. All Leon ever did was survive Raccoon City and save the President's daughter.

I hated how 4 didn't even ATTEMPT to be a survival horror, I hated how Leon acted, I hated how they just threw away the story of Umbrella at the very beginning of the game instead of giving it a proper ending like UC had to because of 4, I hated the main story of the game, I hated how the Las Plagas literally popped up out of nowhere with no connection at all to anything before and possibly after their initial appearance, I hated the script, I hated Saddler, I hated the blandness of it.

In the early plans for 4 they were planning to work more with the Progenitor Virus, something 5 thankfully went with.

I loved all RE titles, but out of the new ones RE4 was indeed better that the 5fth.

* RE5 had no in-depth plot, it seemed as if I rushed through the game without proper explanation on what was going on. Graphics and Characters were bomb but just wasn't as good as RE4.

I hope they release a new title, hopefully it will not disappoint like the previous.

The artist seem to have total freedom to create the levels in Max or Maya. That 3d engine must be something else! Idie 3d engines are BSP based and very cumbersome for an artist!

Not a glitch. Developers could use any outfit they wanted to give the character for testing purposes or, they did not make the outfit the character would wear in that part. Think this early process is called alpha or beta version of a game.
