i love to see wind turbines, free energy/technology at it`s best and i am appalled that you get no help from the government who spend hundreds of billions of our pounds on wmd ,technology at it`s worst.
there's not any way forward proposed tho, is there? an upsurge of militancy would save the factory, which must now be nationalised by the government:- the unions supporting the occupation (which of course was a great move - what else should they have done??) have to threaten and take industrial action to force the government to act; that is the RMT transport union mainly, and didn't the TUC (most trade unions) give support? right! turn that into action not hot air!
Please support this important effort for the people of the Isle Of Wight but also to provide so many others alternative power sources & support green technology & jobs.
You are in the hearts of many unemployed and working people on this courageous day. On behalf of myself and of so many of my friends, I send you our solidarity and warmest wishes from Nottingham.
Well done, every bit of passionate communication is a help. People seem to have become complacent in recent years, scared of contesting laws, scared of rebellion, scared of telling the sometimes brutal truth in case they offend someone, scared, impotent and futile. Its time to change this attitude and DO something, even if its just passing on words of wisdom and supporting those who are actually involved in campaigns. Go for it.... x
Govt support in policy only at this point, It's the local planners stopping orders and production of turbines, they act evidently for the people, so they need to be reassurred by their local community that turbines are wanted, needed and built.
Theo makes the crucial point. Why bale out the banks but insist that factories contributing to long term sustainability either sink or swim with no assistance? Great video, great campaign, Good luck to you all. Mike
