It's a technique that many great movies include. They allude to something that has happened but don't specifically say it. I.e its alluded to that they've previously met as I showed before, but not specifically said how they interacted. This leaves it to the imagination of the viewer to decide if they kissed before, just met in a market and talked etc. This engages the viewer and makes them more emotionally invested in the movie. It's a technique you'll find in many great movies.

haha lets think about it. If they hadn't met previously the prince is just a psycho peeking over the walls of the local castles! So of course he was looking for this girl that he loves, as he makes clear in the song "one song"! But he loses here again as snow white flees to the woods, and again he sets off to find her...and the rest of the movie is about that. This is a great movie in my opinion...a true work of art.

It's not love at first sight. It's implied in their verbage that they've met previously. Snow white has been waiting for him to find her, and the prince had been searching for her. That why she says "I'm wishing for the one i love to find me". How could she love someone if they've never met? Likewise that's why the prince's opening line is "Now that i've found you.." he had been searching for her and she had been waiting for him. They already loved eachother prior to this
