If the US and a multi-national coalition decides to crush this evil state, I would enlist in our army because I'm pretty sure the Philippines would be involved on that. We've done that before during the Korean War, and we have close ties with the ROK. DPRK is a bigger threat to us than the PRC.

Of course North Korean politics is all bullshit, but it reminds me of everyday life here, where there is also much chicanery in the little power structures which must be navigated like mine fields in leech-infested swamps. Perhaps our politics is actually a relatively HONEST affair, as human activities go.
