This is the root of Islam...The need to improve oneself and one's surrounding......We need to be responsible citizens and take measures to improve our society, families, school....like Islam teach
assalaam....plz can someone write wat this boy has said..coz i could not understand ..may b bcoz am from mauritius, where we rarely read or listen to english language ..... plz if someone can write the story of this boy even not in detail....just to help me to understand his story...plz plz plz ?????
@miss100887. He is talking about being commited to what we do. He said that he worked in a grave yard where he barried people. But he never felt anything until his cousin died and he barried him. After, he lost other friends and had the same feelings. That was the time when he started getting closed to Islam more and more. When he joined those classes, he did not have the money to do so. So he got helped and worked hard as well. Alhumdulillah. (just a bit of summary)..:)
Poor brother, they made him get a loan to attend this seminar - friendship needs no money to be gained, and guidance needs no apology - you don't have to be sorry brother you are never late.. just remember the amount you paid for this "worldly" seminar, you could have paid for your dead cousin as a flowing source of charity for him. May Allah guide us all to the truth.
This is Br. Riza from this video. I just want to say JazakAllahu khayr for the advice. I would like to point out, that this is a small investment to a greater future bithnillah ta ala.
Instead of just a one time donation this can contribute to many in the future and Allah knows best.
I never get tired of watching this video - so many techniques you can learn from this and that's not taking into account what our brother, hayaakullaah, is talking about inside the video but speaking techniques, use of hands, identity statements etc maashaa'Allaah tabaraakAllaah
SubbahaanaAllah! Waaaoooooo WHAT a Touching story!... Many people ca relate to this story, as in we give ghusal to other reletives or our friends, but when our Really close one goes... Breaks you Down!...
MAY ALLAH MAKE OUR QABAR A GARDEN OF HEAVEN FOR US INSHAALLAH!!!
this reminds me of the ayah where Allaah Says (what means):
{But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allaah Knows, while you know not.}[Quran 2:216].
mashaAllah made me cry also, very touching. part of my ordeal was losing my bad friends and having a massive fight with them at school. we were a group of about 5 friends including myself but because of the fight we didnt talk for two years. alhamdulilah, now i see it as a mercy from and guidance from Allah as it kept me away from bad friends. i soon began making real friends who were practicing their deen, always encouraging me to come along and pray with them.
but to be honest brothers, you shouldn't be charging that much it's to high for so many brothers and sisters, or make some payment arrangements, subhan-Allah
When I first started to become a better Muslim and not just by name, I went through the exact same ordeal. People whom I thought were my friends, distances themselves from me and even questioned why am I growing a beard, why are you going to hajj now ? Wait till your in your 60's.
Some of theses people were even relatives. I did not let them stop me, I just put my trust in allah and alhamdilah, I got better friends through Al-Maghrib and my local quabeelah.
MashaAllah, Riza was one of my roommates during life-coach-training, and he is a remarkable person. May Allah bless him in all his endeavors, forgive him his mistakes and sins, and enter him into Jannat al Firdaus without question.
Masha Allah, it was a great brother, with strong eaman. The strength of eaman is what makes the person more close to Allah, and more superior to other fellow human beings. When i was 19 years old, alhamdlilaahi, Allah showed me guidance. Before that i used to pass the masjid, but never felt the need to pray. And the change that has brought to my life by the guidance of islam is the best thing that ever happend to me. Our parents want best for us, but if they are ignorant !, you need to teach.
Brother Khan, why did you have to lose your friends? Or rather, why did you lose your friends as you came closer to Islam? Where they Muslim? I believe you might be sending (unintentionally) the wrong message if you meant that you lost your friends b/c you became a stronger Muslim (e.g., a more practicing Muslim). And forgive me if I misunderstood.
It is really sad to say but when i tried becoming closer to islam, "muslim" people started judging me and weren't the same as they use to be.. For ex, some ppl say things like , " oh, look at her, now she is like Shiekh blah blah " They think I am showing off or something, but Allah knows Best my Intentions !
Salam, I read your comment & I just wanted to tell you to stick with trying to become a better Muslim. No matter how much people say deep down in their hearts they all want to become better people but something is holding them back whether its fear of peoples talk or laziness. But if you're persistent then you're going to actaully become an example to them of someone who's breaking out of that shell of fearing society & doing what's right. And it's like you said Allah knows your intenion, Salam.
I understand your point and I understood his, rather what I am saying is perhaps you (in a general sense including myself) might be going about it the wrong way. Remember as a Muslim we have duties and rights, so perhaps a "right" your friends have upon you would be to not alienate yourself in such a manner from them? If at all possible try to bring them on the same level as you are, that I believe is the true test, and an affirmation that your on the right path.
This is the root of Islam...The need to improve oneself and one's surrounding......We need to be responsible citizens and take measures to improve our society, families, school....like Islam teach
