  • @etoyotarockshsucks y is everybody giving her mean comments? i'll give her credit. shes a six year old.

  • umm... wow. this is amazing

  • HOLY MOTHER OF GOD >:U I CANT EVEN PLAY BA BA BLACK SHEEP WITH OUT MESSING UP. WTF.

  • Her heart is into the piece, and she is wonderfully in tune! I could learn alot from this girl

  • I learned so much about teaching violin just watching these children over and over. Look how flexible her body is as she plays. Her knees cushion her like a little bunny with shock absorbers on every movement of her bow.

  • They held summer institutes every year which where filled with recitals similar to this level of playing, many of which are video taped. I dearly hope they are being saved digitally. What a legacy that would be of Suzuki Sensei's work. I wish there was a place on line I could watch all of those recitals again and share them with fellow teachers and students.

  • I would love to know what this child is doing today. Not only her musical life but also her life accomplishments. If you can play violin like this at 6 a whole world of abilities and opportunities open up to you.

Believe it or not there are many more videos like this from the Suzuki community in Japan.

  • I'm 11 and I started to play the piece but she beats me by a mile and a half.

  • Incredible, I'm much older than her, and I can barely to manage to play it even as good as her. Or it's just that I'm really, really bad.

  • sadly her potential is limited by the instrument. I think she will be a great player when she gets older and able to use an adult size violin.

  • D: well she beats me at violin...

  • すごい・・・

  • I think this was a bit too difficult for her to play. She got through it but must have been agony to study poor soul... She's only six!

  • TALENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This little prodigy is going to become legendary.

  • Amazing!

  • omg! she's so small. how adorable. and she's really amazing, i'm not even close to playing like that. hahaha

  • She's got great timing!

  • Wow!I'm ten and I'm only in book 3!

  • @bribhearts if you are 10 and started at kindergarten like most people did, like me, then you must suck :/ Lol Im joking you probably started in like 2nd grade, so its okay.

  • learning this song right now and im 20, this makes me look like a dunce.

  • for a six year old its good you gotta admit

  • Very nice job for a 6 year old! Who wouldn't be proud of that?

  • dude, i just played an orchestra arrangement of this in November.

    she totally owns us all.

  • and she has only 6 years old! WoW!!! O.o I'm impressive

  • WoW

  • omg! she is so much better than me! im just in intermediate....started in 7th grade and now im in 8th....yea i started late

  • Wow, that's just...ridiculously good. I'm speechless.

  • That's incredible. I played violin for years, and never really got good.

  • Fab playing! It kind of worries me how she got that good, but it is still AMAZING!

  • I will literally fear her in 13 years

  • Can anyone tell me which of Handel's works this is? Thank you

  • It's the 2nd movement (allegro) from his D major sonata (HWV 371)

  • She will be even greater than Vanessa Mae if she keeps up! She'll go even farther than her! o.o

  • Wow, good job. But if she doesn't want to play or practice so much, then don't make her. If a child is forced to play an instrument, it really makes them misrable. But if she likes it, then thats great!! :) I play piano and started when I was five because in preschool I loved piano and had always wanted to play it. I was so desparate I would play on a plasitc toy piano. Then my parents finally got me a real piano and lessons. I am 13 and I still love it today! :) she is really good!

  • AMAZIIIING!!!!

  • Wow, she puts a lot of energy in playing the piece. And her vibrato is excellent for her age! She'll go far.

  • ay wey dhe plays realy good beetter then my brother) lol

  • im sorry to tell u guys i can also play like that ( if i were mozart ) lol

  • WOW!

That is all I can really say.

    This music is beautiful!

  • if I only had half of her vibrato skill!

    Earl

  • Dear oneviwatara: Most of Russia exists in Asia. Look at a map. What do you call these people, nomads? The people you are talking about, more specifically, are Orientals. If you really do think Asians are the best, why don't you live there? The reason the U.S. is the greatest country in the world is because it includes people from many countries. Unfortunately, we still have bigots, such as yourself. I divorced a Japanese woman and married my beloved princess from Kenya. You sound like my x-wife.

  • OMG, the confidence she performs with.. amazing. Well done little miracle.

  • This Handel sonata has tricky fingerings and is quite hard to play in tune. It is also difficult to play in tempo. This little girl is a doll. Her playing is incredible for her age. She has great posture; doesn't move around or make faces which is good. Bowing is also excellent. Intonation will not be a problem. She has the ears of a Mozart. High marks from your Uncle Junior. Best of luck.

  • damn shes better than me n ive been playing as long as shes been alive!!!!

  • Divina!!!!

  • very talented you child please continue making music dear it soothes even the devil for a moment

  • amazing!!!jaws drop..

  • Asian people are the best!!!!!!!!

  • Dear Oneviwatora-tora: Why do you think "Asian people are the best"? Heifetz was able to play the Paganini Caprices at age 6. This little girl is highly talented. Great intonation, phrasings, bowing, and posture. She will make a BIG sound in music. I was married to a Japanese woman for a decade, divorced her and married a Kenyan princess. No race has a monopoly on anything. At one time, I was told that Jews were the best. I guess when you say Asian, you include Russians & Indians as well?

  • Great intonation??? Are you deaf or what? It is extremely out of tune, and she uses far too much vibrato...

I agree, maybe she could be a great violinist later when she's grown up, but really... This gives me a head ache.

  • Her technique is slammin'! The intonation isn't good, but she is six years old! She'll grow into it, and then she'll dropkick it in the face! I would kill to have been able to play anything like that when I was six.

  • The violin is too big:P She is very good!

  • i played this for a concert last month..i'm 14...lol

  • belisiiiiiiiiiiimaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! bacci!!!

  • aww adorable! and at 6, i was like... what? playing with barbies?

  • omg she's amazing she plays better than a senior in my orchestra.

  • I can't wait to see how she plays when she's like 16.

    She'll be famous.

    lol

  • wooww..genial!!... toca mejor que yo

    jiji

  • Wow

  • Aww, she's bouncing along to the music!

  • Several intonation issues. There is also a tone problem.

And in case you complain about this, my standards are the same for everyone.

  • At least one honest person here :)

Telling her it is great while it's not won't help her. If it's out of tune (which it is, terribly) they should tell her so she can improve.

  • out of tune ur telling me.. 2nd bar ouch

  • she's pretty damn good. i like how she bounces :D

  • my name is claudia isnt that funny but this is cool she is very smart

  • sorry. shes bloody six,

    give up :]

  • she's enjoying the piece

  • Excelente!!!

  • she's not good? i'm just started this song and i'm 16. she already has it mastered and memorized. it's in the back of Book 6. come on. some slack should be cut. lol

  • O.o alucinante!!O.o

  • Hey; give her a break. So her pitch and tempo aren't perfect, but Damn!, She's only six! I think she's amazing!

  • What's the complete name of this piece? I play it aswell but I don't have the complete title (I don't play so good as her, maybe it isn't perfect, but she's better than me...) ?

  • i thik she is from china...

  • why do they just keep on getting younger i just a saw an awesome 12 year old violin player then an 11 year old came, then a 6 year old and then a 4 year ooolllldddd!!!what sort of brain do they have??

  • jesus frig! where do these little prodigies come from!!??

  • FROM STRICT MOMS

  • muy zarpado!!!!muy bueno

  • Her little legs are justa goin'! Too cute!!

  • Wow, que lindura!!!

Me dan ganas de comerla o,..,o

    Excelente!!!

  • Oh my god..*.*

  • You're stupid

  • this makes me look bad

  • OMG she is better at playing than me

  • it's horrible, you know the price for this performence ? she is exploit, she don't know what is be a little girl.. she roxx but the background is very bad..

  • O my gode

  • How long have you been playing? You are really advanced for your age. You played the song well except it was a little out of tune, but I am still amazed that a 6 year old could play this song.

  • a little squeaky....but all in all good......

i am a violinist myself..... OCHESTRILIANS RuLE!!!!!!

  • wow! ive played 5 years and im only just starting suzuki book 3.....ive spent most of my time on grades tho.

still i dont think i'll ever be as good as her, she's just amazing, especially considering she's only 6!

  • oh my..

  • omg.. i got the chills watching this girl play such a hard piece. (i seriously can't play this..)

  • You might also think that a "super genius" would Know that the letter I needs to be capitalized when referring to themselves. would know how to spell impress, that a comma goes between the "n" and the "t" in isn't, and would know the the end of a sentance needs to be capitalized.

  • An APOSTROPHE goes between the "n" and the "t" in isn't.

    :)

    , = comma

    '= apostrophe

  • O.o

    ...

    Wow.

I scared to even play this for an audition.

At first iwas like, 'So that was the speed'

That it got all crazy mad fast, and i am speechless. She impressed me, and just wow.

  • You would think a "super genius" who graduated at the age of 9 would know how to spell "impress."

  • yezzzer devils clone im sure this kid is amaizing i play instruments and i dought you ever picked up a dam instrument in your life!!! LIAR

  • how cute!

  • cool piece

  • dude is that third position i saw?! O_O

  • mhmmm im trying to learn 5th =[ lol my instructor makes us do recitals =[

    for 3 months o_O

  • That's, like, sixth position that you saw.

  • I currently look up to this little girl i mean i'm 12 and i'm in book 3 for Essential elements and book two for suzuki i'm really impressed!

  • me too except Im in bk 1 of suzuki

  • Wow! Nice. Sound could be a bit better, but that will come with time. Keep up the awesome work!!

  • HOLY CRAP!!!!! I JUST LEARNED THAT AND THIS 6 YR OLD CAN PLAY IT THAT GOOD. (your right her intonation is a bit off, but its nerves. and i bet she was getting tired, but still i an very impressed. she is going to be awsome!!!!)

  • this is extremely wll done.

her intonation is a bit off and its jst not tht sound u gt frm a more mature player. bt this is extrmly impressive 4 a 6 year old

  • oh my god!!!!! O_O

    awesome girl!

  • wow! im 16 years old and im only on book 2 on my violin!!

  • im in book three!!! lol

  • awsome..so jelouse

  • Does sound a bit off, may be the instrument or just her intonation, either way she still has amazing technique, especially for a six year old!

  • its aswome for a six year old though

  • She is soooo awesome I'm just amazed.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • Great, but she hasn't got that mature sound yet, it still sounds a bit squeaky, but it just may be the instrument.

  • wow i play viola and i know music! so I have to say she is an amazing violinist!! She must practice like 5 hours a day to be playing this kind of composition at her young age.

  • what's the name of this song? like, the exact name? I need it for an audition...

  • wow!!this little girl is real talented!!

  • her posture is awsome that was really cute

and i could not memorize a piece like that for beans. She very very good for her age.

P.S. i love her skirt and shoes

  • Which shows great talent, at such a young age

  • From memory too!

  • Love this one! I got the set from iTunes by Andrew Manze, I highly recommend them (though it doesn't have the second G minor one that my paper copy of the lot has. It does have a D minor one, which my paper copy doesn't have lol, as well as a G major one, a C minor movement and an A minor movement. I know 'paper copy' is a crude term but I can't think of an alternative... 'score'? Not really).

But anyway yes, this is a brilliant piece, and it's played brilliantly! Much potential here

  • Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Argh I'm sick of how many prodigious types there seem to be! And there I was, starting a year and a half ago at 16! Not that I'm not happy for her, but agh! Still, I can't complain, it's all going well, I'm gradually getting onto the Handel Sonatas. She has great potential though! Keep it up!

  • really good i suck at vebrato still

  • The vibrato is all in the fingers, not the wrist. Hope this helps!!!

    This girl is amazing!!!

  • thanks 4 your advice ive mastered it (well i think i did, mine looks different than others)

  • shes a definately little genius!

  • she is so cute like her violine ^^

  • wow, this much expression from a 6 year-old? it's unbelievable. look how her body so naturally reacts to the rhythm. it's very impressive. she has a pro soul, and I bet she knows what she is playing. it's not just playing the notes.

  • I agree. She She does miss some notes, but overall her performance is very impressive! My first thought, Aww! She's shorter than the piano!!! So cute!! Lol, for being such a tiny girl, she produces a lot of sound. Very nice

  • Her vividness overcomes some missed sounds,

but still keeping proper tempo. She is potential in improving much more.

  • she does very well...and for her age veeeeeeeeeeerry good!!god bless you little talent =)

  • one word DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAYUUUUMMMMMMMMM

  • she's so talented and soo cute!
