You can't tell me that you know absolutely for sure that a person in Africa who has never heard the gospel is going to hell. There are to many factors.

What about people with mental health issues or aborted babies?

Also, only God knows where a person is. It is not your place to pass judgment over other people and say where they are. That is God's doing, not ours.

Sure you can. They are condemned to Hell because of their sin. Jesus said they are. Read John 3:18. They are condemned all ready.

Actually in the verse presented, Jesus is talking to a Jew who already new Jesus.  So this verse doesn't really apply since Jesus is talking to a person who at least had part of revelation, where I'm talking about a group of people who have no revelation.

And to think that GOD gave him such an oppotunity such a beautiful way to spread the gospel..being on Larry King and HE buckled under pressure and lost all my respect that day, then i just saw him for who he is, a salesperson or a coach..but not a pastor worth listening to..Sad i say!!

Joel has a worldwide platform - yet he is confused on the single thing that he is supposed to get right - the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It isn't about his preaching - it's about his doctrine. It takes more guts to preach the gospel of God's grace in the New Covenant than to preach the 10 commandments and to yoke people with laws Christ has already made redundant. The 10 commandments are holy and good, but rather than help ppl not to sin, the Word says it causes ppl to sin. That is where the Grace purchased by the finished work on the Cross kicks in.

It takes greater faith to believe in something that seems too good to be true, than to believe that God is still judging us. =p

. At the end of the day, even before a person's life on earth is snuffed out, if Jesus appears to him in his comatose state and he receives Christ, he is saved! So how can we judge whether a person goes to Hell or not by our much more inferior knowledge? We are not God and we can't play God by saying we know for sure if someone goes to Hell or not.... because we simply DO NOT!

The problem today is that so many people have been deceived by the modern day christianity. I used to listen to Joel Osteen but I stopped when God lead me into more Truth I have not listened to Joel since. It is what people want to hear not the Truth!

I too was deceived by "decisionist theology" where I could live in sin as long as I said a prayer once in my life to accept jesus into my hear, and really meant itt. The lord has shown me the truth, and it has made me free. Hallelujah!!!
