@moppinz ....there no wrong on looking on youtube it can give you a gide line and what not but guys if you want to get good or even tattoo start from bottom go to art classes and get good at drawing first then try to get some opne to show you how to run a gun and to do tattoo in a shop...i been tattooing for 2 years now and that how i got in now i own my on shop ...i hope this helps!

Dont listen to all the negativity about this machine. I have one & its the best investment I ever made..It used to take me hours to make a stencil, then god forbid the friggin thing didnt transfer to the persons skin, I would have to make another one. Now, Im able to insert ANY picture the customer brings in & it takes an entire 10 seconds to copy. If ur serious about tattooing, this machine is a must have...Mine was $250 but I've seen them for $100..Remember, u get what u pay for.

@MIKEBENJ you have this model stencil machine right?.. i have been drawing up my stencil's by hand for 4 years and i would very much like to buy either this machine (Eclipse thermal transnfer machine) for $400 of my supplier or the Eclipse 2 off my supplier for $800. i would buy the first one cause its cheaper but before i do that cant you tell me if there is a ajustable setting on the machine for how dark you can make the lines?? thank you and i hope to hear back from sombody soon!

@bacardibmx ....No, there is not an adjustable setting...Not on mine anyway...I wish it did BUT, I haven't had a problem yet...It makes great stencils...And its one of the cheapest entry level models out there...If u can find one similar to this, in model & in price, go for it...You wont be sorry....4yrs, wow...You must be pretty good tattooing by now, huh?...Best of luck to u..

This Machine works exactly like a thermalfax u use to send fax messages to other people with.. u can get them used very cheap!!

is supposed to be a mirror image so that when you flip it over and apply it to the skin...

its the same as the image you put into the copier...

according to the video...

this machine works exactly how its supposed to.

No one is noticing that the stencil is coming out backwards? lol I have this machine and you have to mirror the image for it to come out correctly. Found this our the first time doing letters!! BEWARE!

If it didnt come out "backwards" it would actually be backwards when you put the stencil on skin.

ive got this thermal copier,but parts of the stencil are not getting tranferred,& the stencil is really light in places,it was brand new,but didnt come with instructions,any ideas how i can remedy this problem?

@essextat2boy I'm not overly sure about this particular machine, the shop I go to has one that you can actually adjust the machine for depth ie, the imprinting depth, so that it shows up better. I think there's a menu selection button or something similar you can hit to tell it to go darker/deeper if I'm not mistaken.

So is the paper used only as a one time shot or can you reuse it again? How can you align it properly if some of it's already cut and used?

@DrRockter5150 You "can" reuse the stencil paper, the positioning of the stencil is critical, if you watch the video, you can see that the transfer paper has it in the same position as the original that was inserted, so logically, if you reuse that stencil paper, you simply put an image on the other side of the page and then re-run the machine.
