I have a HD screen for this PC, but my videocard sucks bad. It's a motherboard built-in videocard.

Editing in HD lags a lot, but watching videos in 1080p is perfectly smooth.

@IIDFAII your computer still has to process the high quality video when you change quality in vegas, this is for if you dont have enough / fast enough ram.

i get massve audio lagg when i use this, any way to fix this?

@happydays558 erm, if you mean audio lagg asin audio is behind the actions of the video it may be the encoder misunderstanding the codec, if you mean audio cutting off im not sure.

you could try reinstalling a codec pack or using a different encoder for the files :)

This actually worked! Thank you so much! I stopped making videos because I just couldn't stand the lagg and the crashing all the time! Now I still have to problem of extremely slow HD rendering though lol...Hopefully a nice new computer will help with that XD! Thanks again dude 5/5!

Does this work with Premiere? My premiere lags up like shit whenever I try and edit.

@dotShinoda if you can replace files then yes =D another way of doing it is having 2 folders of the clips with same names and formats but one HD and one low quality, swapping the names when you want to render with them :) i think premire also has a pre render that can speed up editing if you dont mind pre rendering everything :)
