Put it this way: Kurt Cobain would have liked this album probably. It's not exactly like nirvana, they just added a lot of noise and grunge to their sound. they've been building up to this sound since the devil and god with stuff like welcom to bangkok. I think they more freely expressed how they wanted it to sound on this albume than they ever have.
