  • Pimp my wankel!

  • i support a nazi... felix vankel. heil vankel!

  • has anyone ever seen Wankel's eccentric shaft outside of its housing? i would be greatly intrigued, please message me

  • what's powering it?? ( the example in the glass case, not rotary engines in general. )

  • I love that polished intermediate plate on the left

  • Can someone who knows what they're talking about PLEASE tell me what the deal is with rotary engines? On paper they sound like a dream engine, but then nobody uses them. What the hell?

  • @luvmakingfunofu its not mainstream so less people deal with them. They arent exactly going to save the planet with their fuel economy. and besides less moving parts nobody really sees a reason to switch. And theres nothing really wrong with the piston engine

  • Don't need the crappy noisic!

  • If this engines are good... why not an industry standard??

    Sorry for my ignorance.

  • @fpsraab Please do explain how the Wankel principle could be used as a water pump, considering that water is not compressible?

  • @Tjita1 The Action should be similar to a Rotary Vane pump.....water enters one side and exits the other side...the action of the rotor draws water in on one end at the same time pushing it out on the other.

  • @form109 Yes, that is obvious, the problem is that in between those to, the water will be compressed. And for all intents and purposes water is not compressible, thus the pump will instantly seize.

  • how to make people like your invention. CHROME! EVERYONE LOVES CHROME.

(true story, the human mind is naturally attracted to things that shine, horray for subliminal messaging). Although that doesn't change the fact that it is a smart idea.

  • iS THE WANKEL ENGINE ANOTHER NAME FOER A ROTORY.

  • @1939PlymouthRatRod It was called "Wankel" after its inventor (Like the Diesel engine was named after its inventor) but was marketed in the USA as the "rotary" engine - evidently because of its innovatively different design.

  • @1939PlymouthRatRod They're one in the same

  • @1939PlymouthRatRod You spelled for wrong!. Why did you use a small I and all caps for your comment?

  • este motor rompe las espectativas, quisiera q hagan un video conparando las ventajas y desbentajas en tre este motor y un motor de pistones

  • Good we have today several projects to get different Rotary Engines which could reduce the excessive pollution on the air. I recommend you to see wwwyontoinnovaciones.blogspot.com and Inventos Mexicanos de yonto. All mechanisms there were made to reduce fricction, The Yonto Pump which is the base of The Best Rotary Engine does not need any ring or seal to work. It is self-sealed. If you study how their pieces contact each other, you will understand the lower fricction. Regards.

  • davvero innovativo...

  • Wank my wankel !

  • You say this is a Wanking engine?

  • Yah, but can you make a Wankel Diesel?

  • @alfredomnzn So when do you plan on fixing the caps lock on your keyboard?

  • @alfredomnzn So when do you plan on fixing your spelling?

  • also was a starter motor for earth movers as well............... and a cessna engine.

  • rotery...

  • thats a dank motor lol

  • Ladies and gentlemen, the spirograph!

  • heck of a name to call it the wankel...wank is a British term for jerk'n off. I like this but the japanese water powered car I think would be the way to go. water power has been around since the 70's utube it..

  • ,,and just how does a water engine work ?, any pistons ?,,lol

  • @yappertrap Water is condensed waste exhaust from burning hydrogen fuel with oxygen........so you can't burn water again......unless you split water back to hydrogen and oxygen........which is not water anymore.

  • i agree the Wankel worked fabulously as a corroborator but once it whent to a direct inject it falls apart if they went to a single point injection it would work again

  • stupid music.

  • rotaries look less complicated than the more popular engines

  • they are less complicated...

  • thats why i like it

  • than piston engines, yes.

  • It's art. Wankel has impacted the automotive world with what was originally a water pump!

  • felix wankel!

  • nice piece of ingenerie
