  • Growing up in the 70's, Evel was our hero. Nice tribute. Please check out a video I put together of my band Bottom. Type: Bottom Muscle Bike. Seems all we did back then was set up ramps and try to jump over whatever we could get our hands on 24/7!!!

  • Miss you Old man.... No dis- respect O'l Buddy just saying Miss ya glad to say We did Our way! :O) 818

  • Zelda got me here

  • Fuck chuck Norris. He's a pussy.

  • why was evel so popular? i am new to him and just saw a documentary but was left with a few questions. why was he so legendary? was he like the 1st one to jump with motorcycles?

  • @wtficantgetausername He wasnt the first to do it but he was the biggest and most well known, mainly because of his image, the way he dressed, his name and the types of jumps he did. Video of his jumps went around the US and the world and every kid in the world knew about Evel Knievel.

  • smosh brought me here haha

  • @TheLmanpwnsu got bigger balls than even evil knievel and he ain't gonna stop 'till the world is free of evil <3

  • I didn't know who this guy was until i watched this video

  • Evel Knievel, you are a great American.

  • This guy was a true legend of the time. imagine what he would have taken on with todays bikes, and not that stupid great big Harley, respect to the king, I wanted to be Evil K, but it would have been on a triumph, lol

  • A Legend.

  • I was a kid at Wembley Stadium when he crashed, great man last of a dying breed.

  • Two Kings! I think it's sick if you want to watch a man fall. You watch the highway pavement for blood. I understand it, but this is about achievement. It's like the morons that wait to watch race car drivers crash....I watch them to win! Some smirk - Elvis crashed and burned....that was his personal life. He gave us more than many ever could. Evel did the same. Sure he was a rascal...who cares? I didn't want him to crash! He was a true dare-devil and a American hero, in my belief.

  • A true balls of steel moment.... he was on Jim Romes radio show one time..and they were talking bout the Snake River jump n what not...and Romy asked him ..if u knew u had a 50-50 shot of making the jump..basically a coin flips chance...WHY do it? and the most epic response from Evel "Dont u know who the HELL i am" I bout drove off the road after he said that....was awesome

  • MAN...back in the day..1970s ..this dude wood b on Wide World of Sports and my ASS parked front n center of the TV WATCHIN HIM DO HIS THING... was just in AWE..of one Robert Craig Knievel.... Was the epitome of great Americana red white n blue no.1 must have had 50 of those stickers back in the day.. a true chidhood hero..

  • One of my childhood heroes. He was & will always be the G.O.A.T.! He was a real man, not like these pretty boys in sports today afraid to get a scratch on their arm.

  • One of a kind. Godspeed Evel.

  • how did he die

  • Where are the heroes of today? This is epic :)

  • ILL NEVER FORGRT THE GREATEST STUNT MAN TO EVER LIVE RIP EVEL.

  • jumping with stock motorcycles = balls of steel

  • This is nothing compared to what there doing now days.

  • WOW - this Video just went from a few thousand hits to over 150,000 in a short time - WOW !!! Thanks everybody - !!

  • Yes, some very good footage of Evel - RIP & Happy Landings -

  • that was really cool well done

  • the man had balls of steel

  • I saw Evel in march of 1973 with my uncle and my Dad at the portland memorial coluseum, I was 8 years old and it was the coolest thing I had ever seen....I was an instant 8 yr old daredevil on my bicycle and began jumping our metal garbage cans in our drivway, then onto jumpin my dirt bike over one of my parents cars.......Evel, Rest in peace brother, I'll never forget you...you are King.

  • he was the greatest daredevil of all time no one can even hold a candle to the great evel knievel!!!!!!!!!!

  • funny that kids do most of these jumps on 80cc bikes nowadays lol

  • evel may have been born in the states, but he belonged to the world

  • AN1 HAVE LORD OF THE RING CONQUEST PLAY THE DEMO AND SING THIS EVIL KENIEVEL EVIL KENEVEIL

THATS THE ONLY REASON I CAME TO THIS PAGE

  • Dear Jet, I saw Evel at the Utah State Fair 9/68, I was seven years old. I remember two things about being seven, pissing myself and EVEL! I am looking for some film (video) of that jump. Can you help me?

  • Una leyenda en el motociclismo...

  • omg 10% is crashes 30 times.. poor guy... fuking hero to keep jumping Yeah baby!!

  • @fresky74 evel made 300 jumps crashed 30 times, so i think he succeded more than he failed.

  • It makes me proud to say that I have Evel's autograph!

  • Evel is one of a kind and can never be out done by any one not even his son,hes the greatest stuntman ever !!!

  • poor evil best dare devil ever we love u!

  • Yep true wife beating hero he was, how the hell this guy can be a hero I don't know. Do you guy's like Garry Glitter to?

  • @fresky74 everyone has things they regret doing...except you...but you never became a hero....a hero because he showed guts and he had the conviction to prove he could beat the odds time and tome again...

  • @garymacguyver define hero for me then? Someone who beats his wife? Someone who failed at what he was trying to do more than he succeeded? Someone so arrogant he died alone? Just because he tried something over and over again it doesn't make him a hero! If someone failed to kill themselves over and over again is that a hero to you? I'd define a hero as someone who is selfless and he was far from that!

  • I think it should say at the end.....The Worlds Greatest Daredevil

  • How can some people bad mouth this man,he did what he wanted to do with his own life, balls against the wall.

  • My hero as a kid.

  • He was and still is a True American Icon.

  • he died ....?

    seriously diddnt know that

  • i did it my way from frank sanatra killer song for this vid

  • i love this man for what he did

  • I always liked his outfits...they reminded me of Elvis Presley.

  • He was a very nice man.... I was very fortuante enough to meet him... in 1995

I will never forget it... I worked at Nordstrom and he came in shopping....

might have been 94 not certain.... but I will never forget him....

  • EVEL KINEVEL IS AND WILL FOREVER BE THE GODFATHER OF FREESTYLE. WITHOUT HIM OUR SPORT AND LIFESTILE WOULD NOT EXIST. A PIONEER WHO IS GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN. love and respect sir, A. Bagby.
