Seriously, look at the start. the nissan's tires chirped 2 0r 3 times before the jag twitched.
The jag's tires will not spin during takeoff (or any time else for that matter) do to it's advanced traction control (this keeps the Jag from 4X'n at 150mph.)
The car shown, is the slowest XK made also. It is as comfortable as a rolls & quiet as anything.
The sports model is the XK-RS. It tops out at an ELECTRONICALLY GOVERNED 174mph. And holds the road while there.

and look the number for the 1/4 mile if its xkr with 420 hp the number will be 12.9 second at 110.5 mph so it can beat easily the new z370

If you think auto trans has no effect on performance, you're high. The same if you think the driver has nothing to do with good racing.

This shows how important driving skill is.
The Jag driver was late on the light, not to mention the fact that it is an auto trans.
Not saying the Z is a slouch, by any means & I personally couldn't afford to maintain the Jag.
Nissan will likely hold value better over time because of this, but the Jag has SO much more style.
What I'd like to see is a road race between the 2.
Pops has an XK-8 & hands Z's their ass regularly.
