  • great, I enjoyed the commentary a lot. there's one thing I can't understand: why does Black recapture the queen with 26...Raxd8 and not 26...Rexd8? black sacrifices his a-pawn and it is not clear why. Anyway, this is a great game from Svidler - he has the most original and colourful repertoire of all contemporary masters. thanks for posting
