Wasn't so much it was bad as it was the WORST representation of a character Hollywood has ever done. It didn't look, act, sound or have any of the traits of the Original Godzilla. It was more of a Sequel to ''Jurassic park'' then ''Godzilla'' i think.

Legendary Pictures who did (300, The Dark Knight) are working with ''Toho'' to Reboot the American Godzilla franchise an will stay true an respect the Original traits of Godzilla an are planning on releasing it in 2012

I also remember the Taco Bell contest where they asked customers to guess what the new Godzilla would look like. I think the prize was some cash or free Taco Bell food. I really love Taco Bells food, but the Godzilla movie stank.

Yea i agree, with the fucking hype Godzilla had i thought it was going to be the best movie of the year until i found out who the director was an then found out they turned Godzilla into a Raptor/ Iguana. Hope the Remake from Legendary Pictures is a lot better for 2012.

Still watching all the old trailer's an advertisement's for the film take's me back. I was 14 but i remember being there opening day to see it. Ill probably do the samething for the Remake in 2012 too Lol..

Nah Legendary Pictures who did ''The Dark Knight, 300, an The Watchmen'' are going to give Godzilla a shot in another Reboot. It won't be a sequel or anything related to the 1998 film but an entire new take on the franchise. So ill remain skeptical until i see the first trailer. Could be good though, they have a great trakc record. it has potential to be an amazing Blockbuster if they get it right this time. Took them 2 tries to get the Hulk right, lets hope its the same 4 Godzilla

To clarify, the little pooch's name is Gidget, and she's not dead. Taco Bell execs just decided she wasn't making them enough money, so they moved on. She does play in Legally Blonde II though as Bruiser's mother.
