I think you're very good at explaining iphone dev, much better than other vids I have watched, could you possibly do an overview video for beginners focussing on xcode itself, many tutorial videos by devs don't touch on why and where things are in xcode and I think this is one of the issues we beginners have, we need a bridge between not using xcode and we need explanation as to the layout of the application itself.. Well it let me simulate the iPhone after correcting many errors, but it goes into the app automatically, like normal, and goes right back to the home screen. I keep clicking the app and it keeps doing the same thing. Can anyone help?

Yes, you need to learn Objective C and Cocoa Touch. You can reduce the amount you need to learn by using Unity iPhone.

idk if youve got this answered yet, but look into modalviewcontrollers or just new views as a whole... you need to call an action (IBAction) with the button (IBButtonItem) in IB, and in the IBAction's implementation give it the command - whether it be modalview or not. If that was foggy for you, message me, ill help you further.
