  • Thumbs up if you miss Campbell Brown!!!

  • if they released Tilly in the wild now, he would die. Everyone who works with and train animals knows the risks, and they are willing to accept these risks. Otherwise they wouldn't do it. The work that trainers do educates the public so they care about the animals in the wild. A lot of people don't care about something they can't see and touch and interact with. Without these interactions, extinction risks of these animals is potentially MUCH higher

  • @horseanddiver

We want him sent to a marine sanctuary, not the wild, u nitwit.

I take it, u don't feel sorry for victims of the Japanese quake because u've never been to Japan then?

That's what we have media for. People can care even if they don't "interact" with the orca.

  • Go back through and read how many comments want Tilikum back IN THE WILD. Then argue with me

  • @horseanddiver

True but you also mention that crap about wanting to touch and interact with Tilly. People who want him sent to the wild are certainly no saying they want to interact with him at Seaworld!

  • if they released Tilly in the wild now, he would die. Everyone who works with and train animals knows the risks, and they are willing to accept these risks. Otherwise they wouldn't do it.

  • Has anyone heard if Yilikum will be released to the ocean anytime soon? It's no use to have him there in that little tank.

  • @FFAfish can the whales born in captivity hunt? the majority of sea worlds whales were born there. if you just talk about tilikum and ones captured, maybe, but the others? the one about 3 or 4 now? can it? how would that 3 year old whale in orlando's sea world do "just fine" without the basic things you learn in the wild?

  • @FFAfish did you go through all the comments to find ones to criticize? my main point about keiko's story to relate to other whales, any not just tilikum, is disease. the whales currently in captivity are in filtered salt water. natural bacteria found in the ocean is gone. most animals, humans dogs cats whales you name it, after living in a filtered environment for a long time are highly likely to get diseases in "natural" air when released. when released the whales could die of disease.

  • @FFAfish they cant they dnt hunt in captivity dumbass

  • There are definitely some good deals at the moment, I picked up a lot of info from bestvaluethemeparks (.) com

  • Working with wild animals is a very dangerous job,

they are very unpredictable. You never can be sure

what can happen. Whether you are close to them in the wild or in an aquarium they can kill people that's why they are called killer whales!

  • @quelita28 you're right. you can even die from a domesticated dog attack. and everyone who works with animals know of the risk.

  • I want to be a killer whale trainer at sea world and i have accepted the risk that may come with the career. But I love orcas enough to take the risk

  • Tilikum WAS taken out of the wild.

  • @Vagabionda1 We all know she was taken out of the wild. At her age if she is released to the wild she will starve to death and probably will never see her family like it happened to one Orca whale who was released, couldn't feed herself and died. This case is already been reviewed in Washington and they will see what happens to her. Also, God will take her of Tilikum.

  • trainers in seaworld r stupid release the orca already

  • @legodeath2600 u cnt release the fukin orcas dumbfuk u do it they die they dnt remember or no how to get food nd live

  • People say free this whale, do people know if the whale will survive in the wild? the whale from free willy was released, and it just sought out people and died there. it's been in captivity since it was 2 years old. i bet his immune system isn't what it should be for the wild. If we release it he could die like kieko. we might be sentencing him to his death. So how about this? keep the whales that are in captivity in captivity, and the whales in the wild in the wild.

  • oh please, grabbed her by the waist? it grabbed her by the hair. stupid people exaggerating the situation for a few minutes of fame.

  • don't speak on behalf of Irwin. I grew up[watching him and as far as I could tell Irwin cared for animals and their rights. Not exploiting them in cages. I'm glad sea world was dumb enough to put trainers in the water with something called a "killer whale" If it happens enough times...

  • Jack Hanna has made a career exploiting animals. He defends animals in cages, zoos, aquatic parks etc. because he makes money off of exploiting them. He is not an animal expert. He has political connections at Sea World which is why he defends Sea World.! Jack Hanna only has Jack Hanna's interest in mind, and at the cost of animals welfare. Jack Hanna an animal advocate - ridiculous

  • it bothers me so much to hear jack talk about having these wild animals for educational purposes yet they are exploiting them in wild circuses. SAD. LET THE ANIMALS FREE!!!

  • Jack is a spy sent by the whale king, he got whale gold in his pocket and would tell any lie to cover up the whales evil deeds. Orcas are whale society's warriors and they are placed in amusement parks as part of a great whale scheme to get fast and easy access to human flesh once the war begins. Jack should be prosecuted for treachery against mankind! >: U wake up people! Grab your harpoon and always stay on guard! The ww1(whale war) is already here!

  • @potatorchip What the hell is wrong with you?! Killer whales are always going to have that instinct! Grow the hell up! Whales may be smart, but the ones raised in captivity still know how to act even if they're captive.

  • thats a bitch slap of truth right there

  • 1) Hanna's antics perpetuate the misguided notion that dangerous and exotic animals are desirable "pets," yet even an "animal expert" such as himself can't take the wild nature out of the animals he carts around. His "pet" lion bit off the arm of a 3-year-old. A chimpanzee he brought to a church, bit off a 5-year-old girl's finger.

  • 2) A fox he displayed on Good Morning America severely bit the host's finger, and a baby cougar he brought to a conference bit a politician on the chin. By using animal suppliers and assistants with poor records of animal care, Hanna supports individuals and organizations who have been cited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture for violations of the Animal Welfare Act. This is the same man who called Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey "the finest circus in the world," -Logan Scherer

  • ok so some of them were born in sea world but its still not right to make them do tricks for other peoples entertainment , i mean come on how would you or how would he like it if he had to do stupid tricks in front of lots of people just for there entertainment

you or he wouldnt like it so why should killer whales or any other animal for that matter .Its just wrong

Jack Hanna an animal advocate - ridiculous. By the way, I know the guy personally and he is a real asshole.

  • @truth2748

sure you did..every AR person claimed to know Hannah

  • these orca and dolphin shows should be made illigal and those raised in captivity should be sent to reserves where they can still live with human assistance (which I guess they've come to depend on).

  • Steve irwin was a TRUE researcher, his show was in the true wild where he let the animals go after filming them, and was killed by a stingray in its NATURAL environment... SEAWORLD IS NOT NATURAL! WTF PPL

  • Steve Irwin owned a Zoo and even did shows where he fed crocs

  • @BellaPinchapasa Did you not see the episodes when he trained Crocs at his own zoo?

  • @reconforsales he's a wild animal, he doesn't know anybetter, he's a KILLER wale, in the wild they kill things for food, he didn't know anybetter, he wasn't in a guilty state of mind, as we would say in law terms... and sooo many people are killing wales for their meat and what you don't want to 'throw a fish shaped grenade' at them cuz they would deserive it, not the whale,

  • They should bloody hang this killer whale from the empire state building, how dare it kill its trainer, BULLSHIT!!!! The poor trainer probably brought it up since it was a baby, now it kills her. i would love to throw a hand grenade in the shape of a fish in its mouth. Then it probably can experience what it feels like to kill his trainer!!!!!

  • are you kidding me? its an animal!

  • @reconforsales not this particular whale, it was bought from another park. the trianer did not raise this whale from birth. it was an adult when sea world bought it.

  • You are an imbecile.

  • Where is the footage recoreded by the (probably ) dozens of tourists present at the moment, to prove what really happened there??

  • You're full of crap. Jack personally is a great guy and funny as hell. This man has done more to advocate for animals than anything you've probably ever done for anyone or anything at any time.

  • Hi we're here talking to Jack Hanna, shill for Seaworld and other orca prison facilities...Hi Jack...what happened?

  • Many activists, scientists, and politicians believe that the IWC

should regulate the hunts and fisheries involving small

cetaceans. However, the public display industry opposes

this extension of IWC authority, apparently because this

much-needed oversight might interfere with the display

industrys ability to capture animals for its collections

in various locations around the world. Naomi A. Rose PhD-2009

  • I wander how fat his pay check is...

  • Her shoe came off, clearly the scariest moment during the attack...geeez!

  • Jack Hanna Is OLD and out of touch wit todays world.

  • Lots and lots of people call that experience you moron! I bet you have tons of experience at being a numb skull...

  • How many more trainers will have to be killed before people understand that dolphins and whales aren´t pets!!! Let them go free, these animals aren´t meant to be enslaved captives doing tricks for food. Feel bad for Dawn´s death but I think this whale has proved his point!

  • He should've just said "Hey, my name's Jack Hanna and i'm here to defend SeaWorld, so any questions you may have regarding the safety of other people, I really don't give a shit." Honestly people, this animal needs to be let back into the sea! SeaWorld was created through the satisfaction and entertainment of others. That's not a valid reason to ever isolate a WILD animal from it's natural habitat.

  • This is called KARMA bitch, they should get used to it.

  • more whales need to snap liek this this will teach them whales are not ment for amusment let the free. feel bad for the woman that died tho.

  • Gotta Love the cover up attempt... Good Job Seaworld. And this Jack guy got his 15 minutes of fame due to his "friends" death, nice.

  • Jack Hanna is a very well know animal expert. He has been for many years.

  • Anybody have the real video ???

  • Jack Hanna doesn't know jack about animals' welfare. All he cares about is profit. Jack Hanna is a Wild Life Pimp!

  • I think Jack Hanna made a good case for zoos, but still, I think it's pretty cruel, for such big animals to stay cooped up in such a small tank as its whole world. It's like keeping an eagle in a cage for all its life. That's not right.

  • F R E E W I L L Y !

  • well jack hanna just threw away any credibility he might have had.

  • i hate to say it but i'm rootin for the whales. i'm sick of people treating the world like it's amusement park.

  • More like caging then playing with them, but yeah

  • @twilightawakening you mean taunt?

  • when whales attack!
