  • I like take downs but I feel like if I did this they would open up on my back with an elbow strike

  • @elfkiller7 It's a fight - you're going to be taking damage, that's part of it. You just have to keep "fighting". As far as takedowns go, this is a very effective one that I like to use a lot with full-contact sparring. If you're aggressive with it, like I state in the video, he's going to be defending the whole time too. He may get a couple of shots off, but in the end, he's going down, you're going to break him and you're going walk home.

  • @Fightauthority ,it's exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to develop my shot without potentially damaging myself in a self preservation situation. And I agree, I would stick to striking with multiple attackers!

  • @0713mas There are a lot of great takedowns and throws I'll be posting soon. Multiple attackers is a whole different ball-game. I will address them in upcoming videos.

  • Very cool, sort of a single to double transition. Thanks!

  • @0713mas .... Basically. I like it because I don't need to take a shot on the ground, and it's very easy for me to take them down and land in mount to do damage. This is a great 1 vs 1 technique, but if it was a multiple attacker scenario, it would not be advised. Thanks for commenting!
