I think it was longer then that...from the time of Exodus to the early A.D. I'm not sure exactly how long that was though. Second, if it was theirs and they were forced from it, why would it's ownership change? It was theirs first, Arabs are all over the region. After WWII, the Jews could not feel safe in any nation that wasn't their own due to the inhuman mass-slaughter. Where else could they go? They are so small in number and only want a home. A two-state solution is the answer.

They didn't invade Palestine. There were Jews there long before 1948 partitioning for a state as were the Palestinians when the territory was still controlled by the British Empire. You're looking at a very complex situation while only listening to one side and ignoring the other. Both have legitimate claims to a homeland and the disputed territories. Tell me, when you converted to Islam, did the world divide amongst muslims and non-muslims, and now your loyalty is muslim people alone?

Do your research! There are NO palestinian people! Who were they when Egypt and Jordan ruled over them? No rights and no recognition! The neighboring Arab states told them to leave their homes and promised to take care of them. Whoever stayed became a full citizen of Israel with full civil rights. Not only that, they were the ones who declared war even though they got a lot more land. It was Israel that actually recognized them as a people FIRST and that they deserve a country of their own!
