  • I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!!! I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the one and only true church, here on earth, today!!! I love to go to church!!! I love the peace, joy and happiness that the church brings to me!!! I am happy that the church is here on earth, today!!!

  • The Church has around 14 million members now. When was this video made? BTW, I am a believing Latter-day Saint!

  • I believe! I saw! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored Church of God.

Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God like Moses.

    I know that! I saw!

    Look for the truth!

    Read the Book of Mormon!

    Kneel down and ask God!

    I pray for you!

  • its true, but they're still separate individuals. theres hundreds of members in congress but its still congress, right?

  • 2 Nephi 31:21 reads: "And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen."

  • Yes, we do believe that God the made Joseph Smith a prophet, and gave him commandments (including not to drink or smoke). We also believe the current president of the Church to be a prophet. Of course, we don't expect people to take it at face value, but rather to hear our message and pray to God for an answer as to whether we are correct.

  • LDS people do believe that they are saved through grace, but there are things we must do as well. We must repent. Of course, it is not possible for us to save ourselves. We have to have a savior. But God has given commandments, and we are expected to follow them. It wouldn't do to say just "I believe" without following God's commandments as well.

  • Very much accurate and satisfying information. I viewed it to be very honest, well presented, very uplifting and faith promoting video.

I'd like to watch more videos about stories found in the Book of Mormon.

I'd like to see the gospel of Jesus Christ floods through the internet.

Thank you very much. I FULLY TRUST THIS MOVIE BECAUSE IT COMES FROM HONEST GUYS.

  • Later-day Saints doctrine was indeed unique. It sounded new but it makes sense. It satisfies my soul to know that those who were appointed to manage the affairs of his Church should have a DIVINE AUTHORITY known as the priesthood of God.

I rate this movie to be very much accurate. It was a very honest information that comes from honest people. Please provide us more videos.

  • thank you for posting this video. it's nide to know that some latter-day saints are helping to correct misconceptions about our church

  • Just one question: the video says at the beginning that the LDS church believes The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost to be three separate entities. How do you reconcile that belief with the common notion of Christianity as a monotheistic religion?

I'd really like to know and look forward to be hearing from you. Thanks

  • Yes, our first article of faith states, "We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost." We believe that they are one in purpose and unity, but not one physically. For example, in the baptism of Jesus Christ, the voice of the Father was heard, the Holy Ghost descended in the sign of the dove, and Jesus was in the River Jordan. We believe that their oneness is properly described in the Gospel of John, chapter 17.

  • As far as reconciling that belief with the common notion established through the Nicean creed that the three are three separate persons yet one person, I'll send an article on that to your mailbox.

  • Jesus is the only way, not angels, not prophets, not denominational leaders, not church pastors, nothing else but Jesus.

  • Agreed. We, Latter-day Saints, believe in the Bible, where Jesus taught: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." We also believe in the Book of Mormon, which teaches: "there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the cresurrection of the dead".

  • "not prophets, not denominational leaders, not church pastors"....

  • Agreed. We don't believe in Salvation through prophets, denominational leaders, or pastors. As The Book of Mormon teaches: "And moreover, I say unto you, that there shall be no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come unto the children of men, only in and through the name of Christ, the Lord Omnipotent".

  • he means that Jesus was not an Angel but God, as in the same person, spirit, and authority.

  • in 4:04-4:10 the clip clames that the bible says that everyone is the offspring of God and we lived with him in a pre mortal exsitance. huh... where in the bible does it every say anything about us (humans) being around, even just in spirt, before the earth was made? actual verses would be great. Also god made us it says in Genesis 1:27, 2:5 and 2:7 that man was formed and created. In no way does it suggest man is offspring of god. plz if you have verses to back your clames up do share

  • Levikoskan, thanks for asking. The Bible indicates that we existed before we were born. For example, the Lord tells Jeremiah: "Before I made thee in the belly, I knew thee" (Jer. 1:5). The Lord knew Jeremiah before the prohet was even born. That means Jeremiah existed before his birth. Another verse indicating that people existed before the earth was made is found in Ephesians 1:4, where Paul indicates that the Saints were chosen "before the foundation of the world".

  • indicating is not saying,"as a matter of fact, yes, we were spiritual babies." if you go with that rule you can say that the bible indicates that you should cut off your hand if it sins or pluck out your eye, and i'm guessing becuase your reading and typing that you claiming to never have a hand that sinned or eye.

  • As far as us being God's offsring, the Bible says as much in Acts 17:29, where Paul in his preaching identifies us as "the offspring of God" who ought not to think that the Godhead is like gold, silver, etc.

  • Finally, I believe the passages in Genesis 1:27, 2:5, and 2:7. Those verses refer to the creation of man on earth. God created us in his own image, and until he made us out of dust, we were not found on the earth. We previously lived as spiritual children of our Father in Heaven. I know He lives, and despite what some may say about us being an ape's offspring, we are not. We come from a higher sphere, children of a Higher Being.

  • amen.

  • I know what you mean. The power of the State is so vast, that it's important that we do our best to have good, honest people in positions of power.

  • You're welcome. I just hope that a way to get through this can be found that will be the best for the women and children removed from that complex. Personally, I think it's their well-being that people should be most concerned about.

  • Yes, I've heard about the raid over in Texas also. I would point out, however, that the community that was raided is not LDS. It is a Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints ranch. They are a different church than the LDS. The LDS church ended the practice of poligamy in 1890. Since then, it does not practice poligamy. In fact, it excomunicates any member who teaches or practices it. (On a personal note, I feel the government is botching this one in TX, but time will tell)
