I normally don't like simple metal without any depth, but bozzio is a great addition to these songs. korn is so strange. sometimes they make some great grooves, but sometimes they just write to make money and fame. and one time, (freak on a leash) they accomplished both of those things! I applaud them.
This song is fuckin crazy...I remember listening to this when it first came out...I've always known about this band since I was 5. Wasn't really a fan til I became a teenager. But man Korn goes hard.
@pyro2822 I kinda thought the same thing. The only reason I can even say I listen to it is because I do alot of ecstasy and I like a little dubstep...And man I heard Narcissistic Cannibal when I was rollin and it sounded good...But I won't lie...If I wasn't into that shit I probably would have been pissed Korn made a dubstep album.
@KoRnKranium1994 I think that in the new album they were trying something different. I like their new stuff, but they should return to what they used to did in the past.
I was listening to this and it's more than epic in every way!! But I couldn't help but wonder what this song is really about. It's probably obvious after hearing the lyrics but I wonder if it's about how Jon felt in his childhood or what? If anyone could inform me or if there's a site that tells me about the meaning behind his songs then that'd be appreciated.
How in the world could anyone EVER put this down. It's so amazing. Its everything that they're feeling, put into form of music. They're unlike any band I know, and this is exactly what keeps me going. What helps me... Live.
one time on tv i saw a Korn video and it was a guy walking in the rain or something like that im not sure it was a pretty slow nice kindof song..my friend turned the channel tho and i never found out what it was called. anyone happen to know what im talking about..?
@ImAllThat007 I can't think of a Korn video that's truly "Creepy"... Of course... Creepy is my thing, so I don't find a lot of things to be actually creepy.

i love this song and now i love this album but before when i first bought this album which was when it came out (2007) i hated it because it was to layered with sounds and stuff so i never truly listened to and it was my least favorite but now i like i wish i would hve actually listened to it and not judged it. KORN4EVER
It's not really anything to be ashamed of. I mean I personally did love it immediately, but there have been other albums by other bands that took a while to really sink in. Sometimes an album has to grow on you and when that happens sometimes it's even sweeter than an instant connection.
Somtimes i take the lyrics and make them make sense and relate to my life for example if im sad ill take a sentence from this song and make it a part of my life...dont know if there is a word for that lol

im sure you love KoRn NOW...but it's not the same now that pretty much half the band has left...and besides the pinnacle's of KoRn's greatness was 10 years ago, when you were 4... I mean, I listened to Metallica when I was your age, but it wasn't the same as those that listened to Metallica during the 80's...don't take it the wrong way kid, but koRn's greatness is way past your time
@ominoussounds a band's greatness is never past a time...your thoughts on it are your opinion...i agree with your opinion...but it is an opinion nonetheless
@mythislegend69@mythislegend69 understanding a band in it's success climax is not the band's greatness...what I meant by what I said was that those who were young when KoRn was writing it's most Epic music could relate to KoRn a lot better than those who are young now and witness KoRn in it's more mature stage.
@ominoussounds well man...i started listening to them back when their first album came out and i'm 17...i find their sound has evolved but the emotion and aggression is all there...you have to look into it to see it...just because you weren't around when they started doesn't mean you can't feel like the first did...it's all mindset
@mythislegend69 im not taking offense to what you're saying man, just having a discussion. How could you have started listening to them when their first album came out in 94 and only be 17?? As for the emotion and aggression, it is NOT all there, you cannot compare the level of rawness from a cd in which Jon is happily married with kids and successful, to a cd in which he is only about 22 year olds, drijnking doin drugs and pissed off as hell...
@ominoussounds i shared a room with my brother and he's about 7 years older than me so he got me to listening to them...but their lyrics nowadays do have power within them...davis may have taken the performance down with his singing and sounds have changed...i guess the main thing is the band's outlook...it used to be angry and raw...but they've settled problems with their personal demons...they are a band of progression...each stage in turn has its own characteristic
@mythislegend69 you're taking my whole argument wrong...I am not saying there is no power in the lyrics now or that, or that they are better now or then, or that they haven't progressed...simply saying that back in the day when they made their most epic songs, the ones which people will better remember them for, which had the most aggression and darkness was the best time to be young and feeling the same
@ominoussounds yeah...i've been mainly arguing the greatness side...but that era is different than this era...so i agree their best came from the beginning...not saying their new isn't still damn good...but kids' state of mind has shifted from the older generation's...so we share the same or similar opinions...but another might find the new better than the old
@ominoussounds nah...my brother didn't get it til almost a year after it came out so i was almost 3...definitely odd to listen to at that age...no idea what was going on only it sounded great
@mythislegend69 I was young when Metallica's Reload album came out, and saw their greatness...nevertheless, I never understood their aggression and rawness as those who were kids in the 80's did when master and ride the lightning came out...
I dont understand how everyone in this world doesnt like korn atleast a little bit!!If your not a huge fan you should still listen to some of there songs...this band will never die, fuck the naysayers
Second part of this song is awesome! Magic and mysterious atmosphere (for me of course). In my opinion this is a best way to progress for our favorite band - KORN!!!!
Korn's songs are musical genius. The meaning and emotion in the songs are amazing. Anybody can relate in their own way, just by interpritating lyrics and rythms.
I normally don't like simple metal without any depth, but bozzio is a great addition to these songs. korn is so strange. sometimes they make some great grooves, but sometimes they just write to make money and fame. and one time, (freak on a leash) they accomplished both of those things! Second part of this song is awesome! Magic and mysterious atmosphere (for me of course). In my opinion this is a best way to progress for our favorite band - KORN!!!!

"I'm torn away from you and everything that's
close to me
I cannot face the truth, it's nothing that
I believe
Just run away from me and thank me when you're
free from me" - I swear I felt just like that this whole week, Jon has some raw, and true lyrics

Korn's songs are musical genius. The meaning and emotion in the songs are amazing. Anybody can relate in their own way, just by interpritating lyrics and rythms.

I agree! If you ask me there should be a genre in music named after koRn. It's not metal, nor simple rock, nor hard rock. It's KORN! :D
