• 4 players of Gutbuster and Lancer duking it out? I think yes!

  • All dwarf guild? I think yes.

  • Now i want to go out in the woods for days untill i find a troll to slay :/

  • Play Skyrim? nah, it makes me want to go on a real life damn adventure!

  • This song is somewhat relaxing... Who's with me?

  • nice

  • can't fucking wait for this movie

  • that guy is the biggest dick ever saying is a bad film

  • To bad we all have to wait until next december to watch this movie.

  • @silentwitness97 next december? it says december 2012.. or did they change it and i didnt know lol

  • @iplaydeathmetal625 december 2012

  • Oh no! Oh no! Oh my god! The song is not 100% the same as in the book! Jackson left something out! This is Blasphemy! How can anyone change the word of god? I'm sure Tolkien thinks:"The song is almoust the same BUT there is 20% missing. You couldn't you just copy the whole thing? Burn in hell Jackson motherfucker!"

  • @dualis777 it's only the trailer song...

  • @dualis777 First off, god does not exist. Second, this is a trailer, that is for a movie, not a book. Which means it has to appeal to all people for entertainment purposes otherwise, they would barely have an audience. The song is almost no different in its entirety, and frankly, if you think this is such blasphemy, would it be better if he never started producing this movie in the first place?

  • @gutbuster96 Dude don't start getting into a religion flame war please

  • @johnmarstonsdefender Wasn't intending to.

  • @gutbuster96 It was thing called irony..

  • @dualis777 There is not even a hint of irony in your initial post. Either your confusing irony with some other literary device or you just have not idea what your talking about. I assume you mean sarcasm, though.

  • @gutbuster96 That's all well and good, but you still need to stop and think before insulting religion like that. Just because you don't find saying something like that insulting doesn't mean that everybody has that opinion.

  • @Lancer9161992 Ask me how much I care.

  • @gutbuster96 You had better start caring. Nobody likes an asshole.

  • @Lancer9161992 Nobody likes a charismatic, arrogant and grandiose child.

  • @gutbuster96 So you're saying nobody likes you? I can tell. If me being civil offends you, then perhaps you should go see a shrink.

  • @Lancer9161992 Lol look at this clever comedian. Go fuck yourself.

  • @gutbuster96 Likewise jackass. I really didn't want to be a bastard, but you hit the 'bastard' switch with your arrogant behavior so it had to be done.

  • @Lancer9161992 Very hypocritical of you to say that. If you didn't want to be a bastard, you wouldn't have intruded the conversation. Given this information, you are, and you intended to be, a bastard. Get good.

  • @gutbuster96 If you had bothered to really read my first post at all you would have seen not an "intrusion" to your "conversation" (if you can call a string of insults a proper conversation) but simply a suggestion about how blunt you are with topics that can easily offend (and did). When you responded with half-wit insults and attempts to paint me as the bad guy here, that kind of pissed me off.

  • If that makes me a hypocrite, then it also makes you a saint. And we both know you're not a saint. I am the first to admit that I have a bit of a bastard side to my personality, but I only let it show when someone else behaves extremely rudely towards myself or others without a single care. So my statement still stands, without a hint of hypocrisy. You brought my bastardry on yourself. I just love how people like you jump to absurd conclusions based off of so little real information.

  • @Lancer9161992 I'm not even going to bother to read your rage text. I'm going to assume that you are mad.

  • @gutbuster96 Well, I never deny THAT much... A little bit of Madness in one's life goes a long way to a healthy being. But nice try calling it "Rage Text" Mr. Happy, that's what seven-year-olds do. Perhaps you shouldn't be so absurdly judgmental of others? I Mentioned that in my "Rage Text" but you don't seem to appreciate long words very much. Here's some words you ought to be able to handle : Go play in traffic, kiddo. I'm bored of this "conversation."

  • @Lancer9161992 I can vilify anybody I wish, especially you and your brazen, grandiose attitude.Your flamboyant assertiveness is anything but pacific. Your strident and intrepid impugns are nothing but harassment which never seems to end, and I return to debunk you. Quit your ridiculous inventiveness towards me and I shall you. If you wish to become intellectually and colloquially annihilated again, or wish for me to give you some more disparaging words then I bid you to reply.

  • @gutbuster96 Me and my "brazen, grandiose attitude" are simply annoyed by your brazen, grandiose sense of hubris. "Intellectually and colloquially annihilated?" Hardly. Offended? Very much so. This all started when I suggested you try a bit harder not to offend half the world with your brashness. This has begun to bore me because you are too hellbent on stroking your own bloated ego to recognize your own faults. You're pathetic, you realize that right?

  • @Lancer9161992 "Too hellbent on stroking your own bloated ego" and the same to you. If you didn't try so hard, I wouldn't care. I would rather insult half the world than live a lie, as you clearly do. Your mad, your realize that right?

  • @gutbuster96 At least I can admit my own faults. Including being mad. Like I said before, a little bit of madness is healthy for you.

As for living a lie, that is a matter of perspective. From your perspective, I am a raving lunatic who sticks his nose into other people's business.

From my perspective, you are an angry, poorly raised child who thinks that people are just going to roll over and accept that you are an asshole and a bigot without even attempting to protest.

  • @Lancer9161992 Your perspective is flawed, and to my account I could careless from your presumptuous and arrogant attitude. Go die in what way seems best to you, you waste of life.

  • @gutbuster96 MY perspective is flawed? I'M the waste of life? You make me laugh, you sorry little waste of human bone and flesh and spark. At least I can admit when I am at fault, you only focus on making everyone else seem like a complete blustering moron to draw attention away from yourself. If you really find me so annoying, then learn to shut the fuck up and respect your fellow man, if you can even comprehend that kind of concept.

  • @gutbuster96 And when someone does protest, you google the meaning of long and complex-sounding words to make yourself look smarter than you really are whilst doing everything you can to make your opponent look like little more than what you really are : a belligerent and angry child who is throwing a temper tantrum for being told he's wrong.

  • @Lancer9161992 Actually, your completely wrong. Having a proficient vocabulary isn't hard, and isn't something to boast about, like you are doing. You for sure are a little kid who is trying very, very hard to sound intelligent. Please, stop annoying me and go watch more "Toonami", little baby boy.

  • @gutbuster96 I understand from your comment, that you don't believe in God. But do you believe in sarcasm? It's a great thing, really. You should check it out.

  • @iolandaodea Sarcasm isn't exactly an idea, or principle. So it wouldn't matter if I believed it it or not, it would still exist.

  • going to spend my birthday camping out for this movie

  • this gives me goosebumps.. especially when they all start singing

  • I am destroying the replay button.

I know that I make mistakes. I know that I am rude at times. I know that sometimes I do not follow the way of righteousness.

But I do know the mysticism that resonates with my soul when hearing these lyrics.

I am beginning The Hobbit as we speak, and I am commencing my own journey to become a man.

Where my journey takes me is of no importance. The ordeals I face will manifest my soul, and I shall be a changed man.

    Life's aestheticism is beautiful.

  • is howard shore still doing the sound track for this moive, jackson + tolken and shore = an epic

  • Hey pplz check my channel or click the video response to watch a skyrim live action trailer with this song!!!

  • Simplemente magnifica, no quiero esperar tanto para ver la peliculas.............

  • What about the song after this part? That one was my favorite part of the trailer!

  • i want them to sing the full fucking song dammit haha

  • Was this song in the book?

  • @killer92173 There were a lot of songs in the books, though I don't remember if this specific song was in there. I'm sure it was.

  • @killer92173 Yes, Tolkien wrote those lyrics. The dwarves indeed sing this song after their first meal in Bilbo's house, as night draws on. I believe Tolkien says the dwarves are playing all kinds of instruments too. Thorin I think had a harp.

  • @lughlongarm76 Yeah, I figure.

  • @killer92173 This is actually a very small fragment of the actual song. And it's a bit mixed up.

  • @Alagremm Yeah, I know. I just recently start reading the novel, and the dwarves start singing the song after they eat their first meal. The song tells about their mission into the Lonely Mountain to return their belongings from the dragon Smaug.

  • @lughlongarm76 I think it almost sound more merry in the book, and some of the lyrics are changed here

  • I'm more of an orc person.

  • Im... em... Magic. Great. And very "dwarf'ish" song :)

    Mr. Tolkien would be proud

  • Why can't it be 2012 already? >_<

  • @IamShaoKahn91 because the world is going to EXPLODE in 2012 ;) we all never going to see the Hobbit :O nooooooooo.....

  • @maruscha2000

In 2000 people said that the world would "explode" ... did it? Hmm, we're still alive ^^

  • @TheAkatsukiBoys hahah no not really ;)

But you have to admit, it would be a pity if we can't see the movie :P

  • @maruscha2000

    Hahah, Yes!

If we somehow missed seeing the movie, it must be because Smaug smashed all cinemas in the world .. In other words: the world is "killed" xD

  • I am raping the replay button.

  • this feels like a funeral song, Sad yet there is something to it that tells the tale of a hero

  • Completed the Skyrim main story wearing a full set of dwarven armour, using a dwarven sword, whilst listening to this.

  • this is released on my birthday!!!

i cant fucking wait a whole year!!

  • This will be epic. i read the hobbit and was dissapointed in the game. the cartoon was ok. but im glad finaly a real movie is comming out! =D they should have made this first. lol director said he was worried about the 13 dwarves. yet you werent worried about millions of orcs and soldiers of gondor and rohan?

  • @burningrsfire No he means he is worried about 13 dwarves as companions. He thinks it's a little much for a quest group.

  • If I could like this 1000 times, it still wouldn't be enough. Sadness and epic feeling of this song is amazing.

  • I wonder what this song is like in dwarvish

  • I just love this kind of music, it makes me feel pumped up at the same time as it's relaxing!

  • I wish the song was longer

  • I love this book

  • Full Epicness !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What is the epic music at the end of the trailer?

  • thx brah!

  • PELLE D'OCA!!!

  • I feel like playing Skyrim now.

  • @zomgpriest Wow, me too. This is an epic Skyrim song for sure to be added in some mod.

  • @zomgpriest HELL YEAN

  • @LastTangoCinema HELL YEAH *

  • @zomgpriest if only there were dwarves in skyrim

  • @Ramboness The Dwemer died off long ago.

  • @Dennisosullivan Died off or evolved?

  • @Ramboness Unfortunately there aren't any since they died, instead you get talking cats and lizard :/ That's the major flaw of Elder Scrolls universe.

  • @zomgpriest its definitely awesom background for skyrim

  • @zomgpriest I feel like watching Lord of The Rings now.

  • @zomgpriest i played this song behind the muted skyrim trailer, it fit perfectly.

  • @zomgpriest to dungeons deep? wow

  • I love it so very much!

  • Middle Earth is back baby!

  • Lets all sing this song on the theater when the movie comes out xD

Far over the misty mountains cold

To dungeons deep and caverns old

The pines were roaring on the height

The winds were moaning in the night,

    The fire was red, it flaming spread;

The trees like torches blazed with light.

  • @JAMES4fuckinEver I can't get the first note right :/ it's D. The first word "Far" is sang in D. What should I do? Everything else seems to be in my vocal range. Any tips on how to make low notes?

  • @JurgisTamulis singing low causes the same problems as singing high in that you actually need complete relaxation of other muscles, particularly your swallowing muscles. When reaching for the extremes of their vocal range people, in general, tend to tense up. Methods that might relieve these things include tongue and lip trills. It's simple enough to research these 'speech level singing' techniques, although somewhat more difficult to put them into practice.

  • The Dark Knight Rises got nothing on The Hobbit,

  • Far over the misty mountains cold

To dungeons deep and caverns old

The pines were roaring on the height,

The winds were moaning in the night,

    The fire was red, it flaming spread;

The trees like torches blazed with light.

The bells were ringing in the dale

    And men looked up with faces pale;

The dragon's ire more fierce than fire

Laid low their towers and houses frail.
