@moriboto1 sorry if I scared you haha, but I personally have bad allergies and vitamin E makes my skin react in hives. It's just me though, there are many people who swear that it gives them good skin too! So if you do try it, just be careful at first - like with any other new products you put on your skin! =) Sorry to have scared you!

Hi, I have a question, I just got my matte palette, but it isn't truly matte. The black has a shimmer, all the purples and reds have shimmer, Only 5 shades are truly matte. I am looking really hard to see the shimmer, but since I was told matte, I expected matte. Did you notice this too?

Any verifiable evidence you can site for this allegation? I haven't found anything online that specifically mention Coastal Scents cosmetics and/or its suppliers selling products that contain a harmful amount of lead. Or are you saying that just because the product was made in China?

I LOVE Coastal Scents. It's what I usually use. Right now I have the 78 palette.  It also has six blushes. It has colors for every look you'd want to do. And the price is very reasonable. Also their brushes are fantastic:)

all these eye shadows are in the 88 pallette and 120 pallette. if you wear blush just get the 78 pallette. i wouldnt reccomend these pallettes they are beautiful but not that many shadows and way too many blushes

Great review! I always love getting the big palettes that have a whole bunch of diverse colors. BTW, if you can't use the primer you showed, I recommend Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion (you can get it at Sephora). I don't know if it has vitamin E or not but I have really sensitive skin, especially around my eyes, and it's never caused me any trouble. Plus, your eyeshadow doesn't go ANYWHERE! It's only $16 a bottle, so I'd definitely give it a try.

Try Ebay,straight from China it´s cheaper, and shipping is cheaper as well. I´ve done it with the 88´s and they are 10 dollars cheaper each. I have both CS and these from China and they are exactly the same!

Ooo yeah me too! I saw that Enkore posted his haul but there aren't any swatches..He compares them to MAC shadows, but if you don't even have those MAC shadows you won't know what they look like anyway :(

do coastal scents shadows have a long lasting wear time? Or do they come off quite quickly, i just get the impression from the website it might be a bit of a cheap brand that is just overpriced if you get what i mean.

They are okay, but very crumble and falls all over under my eyes when I apply. What I don't like about, is that it's made in China. i learned about it after getting it, but if you are concerned about all the incidents Chinese producers have occured, you should reconsider.

yea I live in Australia and didn't have a problem with the postage or the items. I also got the 88 palette among other things, the only prob i had was kinda the postage price but that's mostly because of the exchange rate which I guess isn't CS fault. :)

I would go for the shimmer but there are a lot of colors that I don't really like, plus I'm not a matte lover (I've used shimmer all my life lol.) But the colors on the matte palette look more vibrant and they have more colorful varieties (the shimmer has too many browns/reds/pinks) The black matte is beautiful!!!
