This Guy has now clue what's so ever. The galaxy s 2 is the top 2nd phone on the chart for best smartphone. And the apple iPhone is number 4 ON THE CHART. So you don't have any clue what you are talking about and will never be very good at technology. GALAXY S2 IS THE BEST! ALL VOTE ME.
My iphone 4s is the perfect pocket size phone as it sits with more comfort in your hand. Bigger isn't always best when comparing phones. as far has i am concerned if you want a bigger screen get a iPad or tablet.
BTW, someone should do a series of drop tests on these two phones and see which one can take the knocks.

Whatever. Galaxy S3 might come out next week lol. Apple only needs one handset a year to compete with the android legion lol. U can mess up ur android phone by installing different firmwares and have battery issues by having more than 3 home screens. And force closes too lol. Too many error messages and hardware problems for galaxy s2. In my experience anyway. My brand new S2 didn't last a week. So I'm heading back to iPhone. Seamless user experience. More apps. People don't get it. Apple supports people like my friends and I, who can develop Applications and release them to the public. On Android, it's more like here just accept whatever the fuck is thrown into your app store so we can get more apps to brag. Quality over quantity. @NGUpremier Android is open source so developers are always playing around with it and instead of making apps they are creating custom roms. has apple ever released an ios source code. I really don't care I know people who hack there iphone just to get some of the simple features that android users enjoy everyday. Boycott Samsung. Poor device. Poor customer service. In my experience anyway. iPhone = expensive because it is reliable and doesn't have any hardware faults that you would come across a Samsung galaxy phone. Use a galaxy s2 non stop for an hour while on charge and you will see what I mean. Heats up for no reason. Risky phone.

@kab1r Must have forgot about the whole antenna problem with the iphone 4. also my gs2 has no problems and I use it nonstop playing sudoku, angry birds, or even watching netflix I have no problems. I have also had it docked and charging while listening to music or watching movies and had no problems. I also hooked it up to my mhl adapter and watched it through my tv still no problems.

at the end of the day both phones will make a phone call you will be able to use google maps to find where you are when you are lost and none of them can make you a sandwich lol.

Experienced smartphone user doesnt rely on paper tech specs whether it has 1 ghz or 1.4 ghz.. Apple is good in mixing the os w/ the device's specs... IP4 only got 1ghz A4 chip but has alot better UI,, less lag, smoother app scrolling.. While android is not good at that,, 1.4 Ghz processor but still occasionally experiencing unsmooth scrolling, camera fail,force close. And the worst thing,due to variety of gpu,its hard to find compatible apps. User experience is still better than tech specs.
@Pipiw12345 My "user experience" with the iphone was very underwhelming. Grid hell UI, no customization, a whopping single model to choose from, old display technology, camera is great outdoors but inferior indoors and when shooting video, was stuck using itunes, and I had to go into settings menus to adjust things I could have a widget for on my Android and WP7 phones.
Iphones are good but not great, they are a very pedestrian/casual experience. Not for the enthusiast.
@ChaseKittens As a cmon fandroid, you are bragging about "customizations. Which should be not an issue.. because you can "easily" jailbreak your iphone and customize it. Or restore it if u want ur warranty,very simple.. But it depends on your preference if you want to do it or not. Not everyone like customizations. IF FUN vs. FUN, you can have fun w/ em both exactly the same if u wanted to. But the edge of apple is mixing lower processor w/ the os but stil smoother than any android devices.

Jailbroken iOS is a far cry from Android customization - a handful of widgets and basic theming and enabling disabled options doesn't even come close to how you can change every single aspect about Android. Jailbroken iOS UI is still grid hell.

But when it comes to modifying the layout of homescreen,android is no way ahead. But again my point is apple is still better in mixing lower processor w/ the os than android.

LCD is better in direct sunlight as well, AMOLED may have some advantages but LCD is still a great display tech
@caldweab "Some advantages" ? Try ALL advantages. AMOLED is better in every spec that makes a display better and mor accurate. It has superior contrast ratio, refresh rate/response time, color accuracy, viewing angle, it can actually display blacks and dark colors in the ways that LCD can't, and the image isn't washed out by a backlight.
PPI is nice but I'm not going to compromise every other spec for it, and at the end of the day I'm not stuffing the phone in my face to try to see pixels.

How can the iphone be faster if it runs a 1 gig processor and the Samsung runs a 1.5 gig processor? Boycott Samsung. Poor device. Poor customer service. In my experience anyway. iPhone = expensive because it is reliable and doesn't have any hardware faults that you would come across a Samsung galaxy phone. Use a galaxy s2 non stop for an hour while on charge and you will see what I mean. Heats up for no reason. Risky phone.

@kab1r Must have forgot about the whole antenna problem with the iphone 4. also my gs2 has no problems and I use it nonstop playing sudoku, angry birds, or even watching netflix I have no problems. I have also had it docked and charging while listening to music or watching movies and had no problems. I also hooked it up to my mhl adapter and watched it through my tv still no problems.

@fabolousihone4s, superior in what sense? The android system is more flexible than the iOs. The iPhone has more apps. But if you are a little interested in techs and less interested in angry bird the choice is Android.

Experienced smartphone user doesnt rely on paper tech specs whether it has 1 ghz or 1.4 ghz.. Apple is good in mixing the os w/ the device's specs... IP4 only got 1ghz A4 chip but has alot better UI,, less lag, smoother app scrolling.. While android is not good at that,, 1.4 Ghz processor but still occasionally experiencing unsmooth scrolling, camera fail,force close. And the worst thing,due to variety of gpu,its hard to find compatible apps. User experience is still better than tech specs.

Grid hell UI, no customization, a whopping single model to choose from, old display technology, camera is great outdoors but inferior indoors and when shooting video, was stuck using itunes, and I had to go into settings menus to adjust things I could have a widget for on my Android and WP7 phones.
Iphones are good but not great, they are a very pedestrian/casual experience. Not for the enthusiast.

@ChaseKittens As a cmon fandroid, you are bragging about "customizations. Which should be not an issue.. because you can "easily" jailbreak your iphone and customize it. Or restore it if u want ur warranty,very simple.. But it depends on your preference if you want to do it or not. Not everyone like customizations. IF FUN vs. FUN, you can have fun w/ em both exactly the same if u wanted to. But the edge of apple is mixing lower processor w/ the os but stil smoother than any android devices.

@Pipiw12345 Sorry, dismissing me as a fandroid isn't going to work; I'm a mobile geek who's been interest in PDAs and smartphones since long before the iphone. I've had WinMo, iphone 4, WP7 and Android, and they all had their strengths and weaknesses.
Jailbroken iOS is a far cry from Android customization - a handful of widgets and basic theming and enabling disabled options doesn't even come close to how you can change every single aspect about Android. Jailbroken iOS UI is still grid hell.

But when it comes to modifying the layout of homescreen,android is no way ahead. But again my point is apple is still better in mixing lower processor w/ the os than android.

@caldweab "Some advantages" ? Try ALL advantages. AMOLED is better in every spec that makes a display better and mor accurate. It has superior contrast ratio, refresh rate/response time, color accuracy, viewing angle, it can actually display blacks and dark colors in the ways that LCD can't, and the image isn't washed out by a backlight.
PPI is nice but I'm not going to compromise every other spec for it, and at the end of the day I'm not stuffing the phone in my face to try to see pixels.

If you actually read the specs you will notice that on almost all fronts the Samsung beats the iphone, on very few it is equal and there is not a single issue where the iphone actually beats the samsung.
