@PedroChehoud Like with any phone if you add the number to your contact list and give it a name the name will come up every time they send an sms.

If it isn't added to your contacts than your phone won't know who it is, so it just tells you the number.

i just bought mini like 5 days ago and so far i think that its a great phone. really easy to use, thanks to nokia user-friendliness style, camera is ok, videocam is kinda wow for a phone. ovi maps works like dream!! speakers arent really clear and rich when come to max volume, rattling sound when shaken in solid state, due to the right extra hinge. overall its a great phone =)

@karedward ohh i think i get it now.. u mean u can feel a slight bump on the black area above the screen right? which places earpiece, accelerometer and the 2nd camera, as well as the nokia logo. if that so, yeah mine also has that slight bump. it can be felt when u press and drag ur finger from the screen to the earpiece. i think your phone is fine, there's nothing to worry about =)

The N97 & N97 mini both suck!!! soooo many people hate this phone who own it, everything sucks about it, the sound is tinny and terrible, the camera gets scratches from the lens cover!, the screen when folded out is wobbly cause of ho double hindge on right side, it crashes all the time, video mode has infinite focus so videos recorded are always blurry, the RAM is terrible (N95 8GB could play quake 3 arena PC version!! it had so much RAM) this struggles jus multitaking! I HATE this phone :(

Great phone. The mini compared to the n97 is slightly smaller (obviously), and has less on board memory (8gb) this can be expanded with a micro SD card though to 16gb soon 32gb. It has slight revisions like a more spaced out keyboard and metallic backing also i believe the os is slightly updated. Google the pdf manual for more specs.

It's really not that much smaller. If you look in this video when they are side by side the mini is a little bit further back - look at the shadow. I still want one, I don't think Nokia has been dishonest, but I'm not sure if you can really call it a mini, difference is like 1cm

the iPhone is a really bad phone. The only USP is the looks & styling of the phone which frankly is the best but it doesnt have any features to really write about. the N97 is a really good phone and holds well, not like a cordless phone at all. I've been using it for like 5 months now as a replacement to my previous N95. The only complaint with the phone is that the camera cover sometimes scratches the camera lens...other than that, brilliant work Nokia !
